The Rebel woke up as they were being taken through the gate of a castle wall. This was a newer kingdom from their home with defence being the main idea behind it's design. The stonework was also a lot cleaner showing it's age clear as day. The sun was early to rise as they rode through the inner courtyard of the castle.

It was all red, the clothes of the guard, the tapestries outside the castle. It was like the rebels were made to blend in. In a place where the colour of your cloths showed who you are aligned with. It was unnerving finding out you dress like a opposing kingdoms. A fact made worse when the some one wanted their boyfriend dethroned or dead.

Their hands were tied to the horn of the saddle with their mother sitting behind them. They decided to keep up the act of being unconscious staying down against the uncomfortable saddle. They came to the stop at the castles door with everybody dismounting. This was when the Rebel took the time to wake up.

"Good timing Ace. Just in time to meet my old pen pal." The Rebel Leader said pulling them from the mount. They were then pulled into the castle and through halls. Before the rebels congregated in the throne room that was empty at the time. It looked exactly like the throne room at home except with the all blue replaced with red. This was all just a twisted dream.

Same white marble floor now with red accents. The fabric that adorned the windows was a deep red. It was just as rich of a colour as the blue that could be found back at home. There was three smaller thrones that sat off to the side of the main two. They sat on a platform that was one step down from the main two.

That was the other thing that was different as the royals would just make their children stand. From the back room three figures stepped out. The King in black and red that gave the same off putting energy that their mother had been giving off more and more as the attack was nearing. The queen's throne and the first throne down were empty.

There was two princesses, the second looked like the prince. The same really light blond hair falling around her shoulders. The same caring and smart way she seemed to hold herself even without saying a word. Her eyes were more green then the princes blue but still bright and looking everyone over. She was even around the same height and age.

The heels that the Prince would normally wear and the distance the Rebel was made it hard to tell. Other than that she was the girl version of the Prince dressed in red. She even matched the white the Prince was fond of. The Rebel was going to try and convince the Prince to try on red since he was only seen in his royal blues. After seeing this girl the blue suited him a lot better.

The youngest had a little darker blond hair that matched the King with the same golden hazel eyes. The King greeted everyone before giving room assignments to the other rebels. Soon it was just the Rebel and the Rebel Leader and these royals. The Rebel Leader took out the gag but kept the Rebel bound.

"You must be Ace; I have heard so much about you." The King said walking down the steps from his throne. The princesses followed him trailing a little behind.

"You must have not taken the news well considering the condition you have shown up in." The King said standing in front of the Rebel and their mother. The Rebel decided to skip the way that they learned about the news and went straight to what the letters entailed.

"We are not going down without a fight. The Prince is a better ruler then you expect, if you wage war you will lose." The smile that was on the kings face melted into a look of disappointment.

"Well this is a terrible turn of event. I'm sure in a few days you will change your mind. Maybe tomorrow and some introductions will fix your attitude." He clicked his fingers suddenly there was two guards in armor. The rebels arms were attached by the wrists. Each arm taken up by a guard as they were escorted out of the room.

They were pulled through the hall of the castle. It was hard trying to remember every twist and turn till they were taken to the dungeon and put into a large circular room. Their arms were attached to a chain that went along the ceiling of the room attaching to the winch near the door. Their arms were pulled up enough that they were still able to sit down.

They were left there for who knows how long. They didn't know how long they were going to be there so escape was the first thing they started looking at. Getting past the chain would not be easy as they tried to find a weak point. They were up and walking around but were unable to get close enough to get to the winch. That didn't stop them from trying to kick the catch.

"You're going to hurt yourself like that." One of the princesses said through the small, barred window of the door. This scare caused the Rebel to stumble and the chain they grabbed onto was the only reason they didn't knock themself out on the floor.

"You could warn a person before scaring them like that." They said doing their best to stand up again.

"Yes, but where would the fun be in that." She said before opening the door and making her way inside.

"I have been given permission to talk to you. You can speak as freely as you wish. My name is Leah." She was the princess that looked like the girl version of prince. Something that was more off putting up close. You could think them to be twins just something being not right.

"Right, Ace. Listen I didn't want to come here. I don't want to be here. I need to get back home if your willing to help." They said going back to finding a way to release the catch.

"After my visit I will give a report saying that you have calmed down and claimed shock for your appalling behaviour before. It does not matter what you want in this situation. What will happen will happen whether we like it or not. I suggest you deal with it as it come and start acting like a prince should."

"You are going to be a king; I will be queen and the life that you were going to build will be destroyed at the end of the week when we march on your kingdom. Now are you going to play nice, or will you have to spend the night here?" The Rebel couldn't help but hear the Prince in her words. It really wasn't helping the situation especially considering what those words were saying.

The Rebel shook their head trying to get everything in a line. It sounded like the best way to get out of there without hurting anyone, including themself.

"I would be alright with that; I would also like you to take me out to dinner at least once before preposing." They joked now standing in the middle of the room.

The princess nodded "I would agree to that. I will have to talk to my father about you coming to dinner tonight so we can talk. You will also be placed in a different room when you get out of here. Just a heads up you will be placed with knight Ryan for the night barring any more bad behaviour."

"Why would I need a heads up?" The Rebel asked their face a mix of concern and confusion. The princess smirked before walking away.

"Hey, wait! Why‽" They tried to rush to the door to catch her, but they were stopped by the chain pulling them back a little. They had to grab onto it to keep their balance again. "Shit." The Rebel huffed cursing the chain. Repeating the word to curse the situation in general. They knew their mother was crazy, but this was a new low for her.

If things went the way they were all planning it was about to get a whole lot worse. They waited till the sun had passed low enough that they were only getting light from the fire in the hall. They were guessing they were in the east because of this. That was when a knight with black armor came and unlocked their door. Tall, big build, very sure of himself. That was even before he removed his helmet.

"Ace?" He asked in a smooth bass.

"What?" The Rebel asked immediately not liking the guy. "You have been summoned to the dinning room, sire." He turned around and started walking down the hall leaving the door open. The Rebel looked both ways before deciding to follow since they didn't get to eat anything since yesterday night.

They were able to catch up to the knight who kept his helmet off while they walked. They moved into a giant dinning room. At one end was the Rebel leader, the king, and the younger princess. At the end closest to the door was the older princess and two plates. The knight sat down beside the princess while the Rebel took the spot across from her.

"So you did decide to show up." She commented not even a glance at them.

"What can I say, you were very persuasive." They said sarcastically looking around at the giant room.

The knight leaned over and mumbled "I thought you said you were just going to talk to him."

"Them Thanks." The Rebel snarked before picking up their fork. "She did just talk to me." They put down their fork before they even touched the food and leaned across the table.

"And I only came out of there to get back home. I'm already engaged before I got here and he kind of needs me so the sooner I can get out of here the better." They leaned back in their chair before picking up their fork and taking a bite of food. The princess looked up from her food while pausing her movements. The knight glanced between the two of them before deciding to stay out of it.

"Yes, I was under the impression that you were already spoken for by how your mother talked about you. She thinks that I would be a better match instead when I am also already spoken for and in line to take other the throne here. Just play nice for a couple of days till we can have a better understanding of the timeline. If you leave too soon you won't know what is coming. That would just be giving up an advantage you desperately need."

The Rebel just sat back thinking this over, "So you planned this?"

"I have a plan if that is what you are asking, yes. We both don't want this, and I will end up ruling a kingdom anyways so no hard feelings if I would like to keep my own path in life." The Rebel nodded thinking that was the end of the conversation. Later they would both figure out a way to get out of this.

It sounded like it was going to be a couple days anyways might as well not make any unnecessary enemies. They ate the rest of the meal in silence before the King and Rebel leader were walking towards them. That was something that made the Rebels stomach turn.

"Now that Ace has seen that they were just being a little irrational we have a small request of them." The Rebel leader said addressing the group before turning to the Rebel themself.

"We want you to write a letter to your abuser. We already have the words we just need you to write it in your hand and sign it from the king." The Rebel pushed out their chair to face the Rebel Leader.

"Sure, I can have it done soon enough. If there a pre-written script I can improvise off of. I think having words already written would be better, so I don't go on for pages." They said trying to sound relaxed as they controlled their breathing. The King pulled a paper out from his pocket handing it first to the Rebel leader before it was handed to the Rebel.

"This is everything that you need to say. We also wanted to make sure that certain things got across to her. Bring it to breakfast so we an send it out. It should be there by the morning after that. We will move out the day after that since that should be plenty of time for her to come to terms with the agreement."

The Rebel nodded as they took the letter not reading it where they might not be able to control their reaction based on the way their mother was talking. "Sounds like this should be over soon then. I will get right on it." The Rebel put the paper in their jacket pocket.

"You will be staying with Sir Ryan while we sort all this out." The Rebel leader nodded to the knight that they had been eating with. "Please don't stay up to late as breakfast is going to be at 8 rings. We will see you all tomorrow." The King add at the end before the two of them walked out of the room. Just watching them made the Rebels skin crawl.
