The Rebel didn't even walk into the room. As soon as the Prince walked past the door frame they spun on their heels heading to the basement. They recognised the wax on the letter. It was something they had been seeing for months even before the plan to attack the castle was set into motion.

They never been able to get a look at any of the letters. When they were able to go over one of them in the back room it made their skin crawl. In hind sight something they should have brought up to the Prince before the confrontation they were about to have. They came up to the door and was let in without saying a word. Probably for the better since fury was the only thing on their tongue.

They went past the first few cells, those that still held nobles that were loyal to the old crown and were a risk to be let out. In the back was where the rebel thieves were being contained. It wasn't hard to find them with the noise they were making. The rebels were in the deepest with the Rebel leader separated from the rest. Something that was probably for the best.

"Mother." The Rebel said standing at the door. There was a small window with bars through the door that they could see through.

"You came for me; I knew you were still on our side. You have to get me out of here. I have to get out." she said in a bit of a panicked tone. This set the rebels anger off a little as they could not believe she would think they were still on her side.

"You stole from the kingdom. Those riches are going to be used elsewhere to help the people. You know the people that we worked for the past year to free from tyranny. We still need that before you go running off with any of it." The rebel's voice was stable enough that the serprise couldn't have been heard. The leaders shoulders dropped a little as she realised that she was not going to be let out.

"If you aren't here to get me out, why are you here?" The Rebel took the envelope out of their pocket.

"I came about this." They put the seal though the door letting the Rebel leader pick it up from the ground. Her face dropped when she realised what it was.

"Where did you get that?" She came closer to the door and whispered.

"I knew you were getting letters from someone. All this time you were telling someone all about your scheme. Or should I guess that they are telling you all about their scheme. Who knew you were collaborating in this downfall." The Rebel kept their tone light, like it was an everyday conversation. The Rebel leaders face twisted into a sneer, the Rebel was not on her side and would not be coming back. She was just now realising it.

"Does it matter why we did it, it needed to be done anyways. I was just securing out future along with it. I was giving us stability." Her voice was toxic, dripping a poison they had not heard in a long time.

"You got people behind you because you said you were fighting for the people. You were just going to replace one tyrant with another. You're a hypocrite in your words and actions. I put all your letters in a safe place to go over for a case. When I'm through you won't see anything outside these walls again. You will be kept down here for a very long time because death would be to good for you."

The Rebel made sure to speak at a normal tone to let the others know exactly what was going on. Nothing was going to be kept in the dark with this. They had enough with her manipulations and fear tactics. Now that they were able to get out they were taking it. The rest of the dungeon went quiet, something that was unnoticed by the Rebel with blood rushing in their ears.

Everything they fought for the past few years was a lie. People had died for nothing, for getting the upper hand underhandedly. Even her having an advantage she used her people to fall before finding a better way. Flashes of memories came back. Thankfully only flashes that seem to take up only fractions of seconds. The Rebel took a deep breath calming themself before talking again.

"We could have found a better way, you had a good cause that people believe in. That the people needed. You didn't need to cost to many lives in the process. I'm sure the letters can prove it." The Rebel turned from cell before getting pushed back into a near by wall. All they could hear was ringing as they hit the floor.

They latched onto the feeling of the rough cold floor beneath their hands and face. They could hear a clashing of metal on stone, metal on metal. People yelling with no words. The Rebel was pulled up from the floor by two of the stronger rebels that were held in the first cell. Everything was blurry and there was several of everything.

"I tried to loop you into things." A far away version of the Rebel leader spoke through the ringing. "Now it will just be a matter of getting you out of the way. I'm sure we can find something for you to do in all this." She clicked her fingers, and the people holding the Rebel started dragging them backwards.

They had managed to take out a wall to the old tunnels. It was dark and dry, and everything echoed. The Rebel tried to kick and struggle but it was hard to know which direction was which. Everything was spinning, they couldn't tell which direction they were going in. The sun was high in the sky when everyone made it out.

The Rebel started yelling, trying to get any attention they could. A line of cloth was pulled over their mouth quickly. It pulled painfully at the corners as it was tied around the back of their head. "We can't have you making all that noise, now can we. We will leave at dusk and arrive by the afternoon." The Rebel leader warned.

They moved down the side of the castle going down a path that was near by the nobles houses. Everyone would be out working either in the fields or on the rebuilding. The Rebel was to disorientated and tired to keep fighting. They were just dragged along as the group of fourteen or so approached the near by forest.

By then they were walking free. The Rebel watched as the castle disappeared from their sight at they moved forward. They had one job, and they already mucked it up badly. This was just the frosting on the cake. There was no way of knowing where the Rebel leader was taking them. Although they could make a few guesses.

Non of them would work in their favor, or the Princes for that matter. They were both in trouble this time around and the Rebel was trying not to throw up. They found a little clearing the group was to take a rest at while waiting for the sun to go down. The Rebel was kept under someone supervisor at all times.

They made no fuss and wouldn't have much time if this were to work. By the time night was upon them all they were left with was a nasty headache. Everyone but the centuries were asleep. This was their time to jump up and run. There was ropes binding their arms but that was undone easily.

They took off not even bothering with the gag. They were going to get caught whether they liked it or not. It just needed to be a warning. A sign that they were in danger and they needed the Prince's help. A final communication they would need to get across. They just had to hope the Prince found it before an harm could be done.

As they ran they took of their ring and placed it in the envelope. It had the paper with the incriminating letter. It was one of the final ones sent to the Rebel leader before the attack going over everything that would happen in the aftermath. It didn't have a name and now it had no seal. It was still the best the Rebel could do on short notice.

They were able to make it to the edge of the forest dropping the letter to the side. There it would be hidden as the Rebel kept running into the field. It wasn't long after that the rest of the rebels caught up with them. They were taken to the ground and bound more tightly then the last time.

"Sorry kid can't have you warning your little doll. She will learn of what is going on soon enough." The Rebel leader said when they were brough back to camp. They hoped it wouldn't be that late.
