Alpha Adam POV


I came back to visit to see if she was 100% about being my Luna. When I got there... Another werewolf was there. Already in my wolf form I ran and jumped in front of her. As I stood there in my wolf form growling at this guy Athena called Thorn, I could feel my blood boiling and jealousy rising up even more. Athena signaled for me to go in and take a shower to get cleaned up. So I stood up and changed back to my human form, I however knew one thing was for sure... I was not about to mess with a Pissed off Alpha with a gun in his hand to protect his daughter.


She was my mate, but not officially till I marked and mated with her on her terms. After a few minutes I finally located a bathroom in what I assumed to be her room, I of course was just guessing by the her scent left in her room. I took my shower, and when I came back out she brought my bag that she must have found on the ground nearby. She even found my clothes. I started to get dressed as I noticed she had started gathering her things around her room. I hadn't noticed earlier as I was looking for the bathroom quickly because I felt I upset her.


I wonder if she picked to be my Luna officially? I walked back down stairs to find her cleaning up the kitchen with tears slipping down her face, so delicate, so vulnerable, so sweet. Trying to be as quiet as I can as I put my shirt on. I walked up behind her, feeling her back against my stomach, I wrapped my arms around her. She tried to push me back off of her so I backed up a bit and to my surprise she turned around putting her head on my chest re-wrapping my arms around her....


She just stood their soaking it all in, so all I could do was just hold her and tell her everything will be ok. She cried and sobbed for at least half an hour. We just stood their in silence the whole time. She finally started to calm down. I had her sit down as I located a cold bottle of water making her sit and drink the water as I rubbed her back. I know what your going through.


I lost both my parents and you lost your mother and then packed a few years later. As far as losing a pack I have no idea what that feels like, but losing a parent or parents I can understand. I really would love for you to be my Luna, but I don't want you to rush it if your not ready. I will wait as long as I have to. I finally found you and I'll wait a thousand years if I have to. After downing half the bottle of water Athena smiled as she replied, " I know that, and I'm ready to be the Redwood packs Luna.


I know the Cedarwood pack is basically no longer a pack, but we are still joined together. I do however worry about my father. He has not been on his own in roughly 25 years give or take a couple years. I love my dad , and this farm, but my daddy still needs my help every now and then. We still have so much to get paid off, and how the land would be taken care of, and more." Athena breathe sweetheart. I actually came to talk to your dad and you about something.


I have some proposals. I talked with my wolf pack and my Beta and Gamma, we all agreed we have enough money we can pay off any debts y'all have. I love you Athena and I want you to still be able to see your dad, that's why we want to pay for the property and we would initiate him into our pack along with you. Besides I didn't get through everything for becoming an alpha so it would be awesome to have him help me become a better Alpha. Not just for my pack but my Luna too. In between each sob Athena replied, "daddy and I were never worried that, I just don't want Thorn find me or hurt him.


I never wanted to have a battle between an Alpha and his pack, and a bunch of rogues simply because of him, or because I could be the reason why everyone is endanger. I have put you and my dad through enough. I really really really hate Thorn. I dated him for a month and we broke up a few months ago and I still didn't like him so I ended it. He never loved me he has always been trying to claim me, because he knows I can make a powerful Luna and a powerful Alpha. That is only if I am with the right mate. I always new my mate was out their I just never found him.


I have never felt the same way as what I feel with you though. I feel sparks, the urge to protect you, just your scent helps calm me down." Sobbed Athena. I know how you feel. I love the way you smell, the sparks, the way you respond to my touches. We are meant to be. I will protect you no matter what.


Everything will be fine. Please go grab some pajamas and a change of clothes and tell your dad the same thing and someone can come over with him early in the morning. You guys are coming to stay the night with me. Athena we can finish with the boring packing tomorrow if you would like to do that. It's going to be a new day tomorrow. I couldn't help but laugh only because Athena laughed at my corniness.


She went up stairs and had been gone at least 20 minutes when I heard a thud on the floor. I got worried about her so I ran up stairs to check on her. There she lay on the floor. She was pale and cold. She had blacked out from all the stress. I was not happy with Thorn for causing this much stress on her.


I quickly ran downstairs, finding him in his room still packing and let her father know what had happened and that we would have a change of plans for the night. I ran back up stairs and picked her up gently laying her on her bed and covering her up. I decided to spend the night with therm just to be on the safe side. I knew she would be ok. I had already taken a few moments to to call my Beta and give instructions as to what needed to be done while I had my leave of absence. She began to stir under the covers just a bit.


She woke up briefly as I sat down on the edge of her bed. All the stress and exhaustion must have gotten to her. She was radiating heat like crazy. I have a strong feeling her wolf might be trying to make an appearance. I made my way into the bathroom and found a wash cloth soaking it with hot water before I began dabbing her forehead and neck to bring down her fever. I went back to the bathroom and did some cold water on the rag this time in hopes it would help too.


Before I knew it I was ready for bed around 10:00 p.m. I changed clothes and stayed close to her while her dad went on patrol for the night. I offered help but he said no, and to stay with Athena. As she is a rare wolf just like her mother. She would need to be guarded to be kept safe. I lay next to her as she snuggles up against me and I dozed off listening to the sound of the summer breeze blowing in the night through the open window. I only woke up a few times when Athena and I had to adjust for comfort during the night. She laid so peacefully I hated moving her around so we could both remain in comfort.
