Alpha Ron POV


It was about 4 months since the fight with the rogues & everything had been sorted out. Athena was able to tell us about the plans that she had discovered about the rogues. Athena found out she was a part of a prophecy & she was going to be expecting two more children within the next few years. I looked forward to being a grandfather again. Lyra still was growing so fast & I loved to sit with her & play with her. She had finally started to crawl but she is only 5 almost 6 months old.


All the girls tried to do everything early according to Athena's mother Mysteria. Even Athena when she was 6 almost 7 months old was trying to pull herself up on things and walk. Most babies didn't do that till they were around 9- 12 months old. Athena has always been the light of my life, and now I will have more because of my grand kids. Lyra is my favorite grandchild even though she is my only grandchild, but I love seeing that she is pulling her self up to stand & try and walk. I knew that she would grow up great & I looked forward to seeing how my daughter changes & how Lyra grows up. The Lycan King stayed for 2 extra weeks to spend time with Athena & Lyra.


After all they were his daughters legacy & you could see all the love he had for them. Since I was doing better we decided to have a family dinner & I was going to grill. We decided to do this to celebrate the leaving of the Lycan king. He did so much for us and taught us how to fight so we could be better prepared. Thanks to him our pack had never been so strong. It had been a long time since I had done that, but it brought back so many fun memories. 


Athena was chuckling remembering the first time I grilled for her. I got so distracted with her & her friends making sure they were safe, & burnt the food. Now she is older & I know I won't get distracted as easily., that is of course if I don't have to watch Lyra. She was playing with her great grandpa, while she laid on his chest and he was kissing her hands pretending to eat them and making her giggle so much. I loved listening to her little laugh while I cooked, I watched Athena bounce Lyra on her lap & listened to them giggle. Music to my ears, & the best music of all was hearing them laugh. 


Athena POV


I finally felt so much better after the doctor gave me some medicine, a humidifier, & some Vicks. I had rested for a few days & now I wanted some fresh air. I took Lyra to my dad's & we sat on the porch watching him grill. My grandpa played with Lyra and we all laughed as she laughed at him pretending to eat her hands and making funny noises with it. After a while I bounced Lyra on my lap & couldn't help but giggle with her. She loved to ride the pony as she called it. 


She had the type of laugh that was infectious & I loved it. We decided after dinner we would all take a walk around the pack territory, & since my grandfather had stayed for two more weeks after the battle was over we thought it would be fun. Especially since he was going to be leaving on an early flight back home in the morning. Dinner was worth the wait especially since it was steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, & green beans. The smell was amazing, & even Lyra ate some mash potatoes with gravy, & green beans smashed up. I wish my grandpa could have stayed longer, but I was happy he had the chance to see Lyra & spend some time with us. 


We decided we would visit around main holidays & keep letters , emails, and phone calls to keep in touch as best as we could. Life is full of surprises & this is one I loved. Lyra was growing so quickly & she was growing up so beautifully. She reminded me of my mother from all the photos I had gotten to see of her. Dinner was done with, & as the boys cleaned up I took care of Lyra, & got us set up to go for our walk. Grandpa even came on the walk with Lyra and the rest of us and she loved the walk. 


We walked around the pond on the property & watched the sun set on the water & how the water glittered. It was so beautiful seeing all the pink, orange, reds, & purples. This was something I wanted to paint & hang on our wall. When I knew I was going to be able to have a perfect photo I took a picture so I could paint it later. As the night got darker I had an uneasy feeling but nothing happened. Whoever was watching knew they were going to have to wait before they could plan the next attack.


Adam POV


I clean up dinner & had Athena take care of Lyra. I didn't want her to be over-exerted, so I wanted her to get Lyra set up for our walk. When Athena's Dad, grandpa and I were done cleaning up I made sure everything was put together for Lyra. All I wanted for Athena to do was clean her up & put a fresh diaper on her. She came out carrying Lyra so gently & put her in the stroller. I knew Athena was going to be a great mother & as I predicted she was a wonderful mother. 


I am so happy she is my best friend & I get to grow old together. Till my dying day I will love Athena & I will love all the children we have. Lost in thought sitting in the chair on the balcony holding Lyra I didn't even hear her walk up next to me she was trembling & all I could do was look at her. Honey are you ok? "No honey I am not ok, I am in shock, I felt like something was wrong so I took a test......... We are ..... pregnant again!!" she stuttered. I watched her as she looked down at the test in her hand, & sure enough she was indeed pregnant, all you could see was the bright two pink lines and the digital read out PREGNANT. 


I was so thrilled and so was she, but we were in shock still. We kept it to our self just so we could make sure the baby was ok or if this was going to be the baby we loose. So we set up an appointment for tomorrow so we could confirm the pregnancy & show an ultrasound if we could so her grandfather could see the baby too. We knew unfortunately he was leaving early in the morning tomorrow, but we still wanted to send a picture even if it was by text for him to see. This would be the best gift sent from the moon goddess her self especially after having gone through this war. We won & we were happy & there were going to be no more fights I hoped for a long long time.


We would have more children to pass on our legacy. I looked forward to being a father once more & I looked forward to finding out if we would have twins again or not. All the preparations would be made & this would be a huge event, because it is not common for us werewolves to have 3 or more. Tomorrow couldn't come soon enough, & soon we could tell this secret of ours. Love, Love, Love is all you can have when having a family, & this was my family, my journey I got to make with Athena & I couldn't be more proud of us. I looked forward to more journeys and hoped I could have a lifetime more of them with her and our kids. 


I want the opportunity to get to watch my kids grow & I hope they have dreams that can take them far in life. All I could do was feel blessed that I was able to share this with Athena. This is our legacy, I hope my children can make their own and write their own stories....
