“My baby!” Lynn suddenly woke up in a panic.
“She’s right here. She’s an angel,” the paramedic holding Ayvah said. She handed the baby over to Lynn.
“Oh, thank God!” Lynn held her baby and talked to her. Ayvah smiled and laughed. She was well behaved for a newborn.
“How are you feeling?” One of the paramedics asked.
“I have never felt better actually,” Lynn replied, looking down at her newborn baby girl.
Once they got to the hospital, the doctors and nurses ensured Lynn and Ayvah were fine.
JD arrived at the hospital and patiently waited to be let into the room where they were assigned. After waiting for hours, he was finally allowed to go in.
“Hey, pretty girl. How are you feeling?” He rubbed his fingers through Lynn’s hair repeatedly.
“Not bad for a dead girl,” Lynn smiled. “I’m just tired and very happy. Look at her, Jerry. She’s so precious.”
“JD smiled and got teary-eyed. “She is,” he said.
At The Pentagon
“As much as I hate to admit it, the other leaders are right. I don’t see a point in doing all of those steps. We need something that will take as little time as possible. At most four years,” President said to congress.
“I have prepared a special guest to join us in this meeting, Mr. President. I believe this will be the answer to your worries,” The Vice President said.
The VP motioned for the Secret Service agent to open the door. A doctor carrying a briefcase entered.
“This is Doctor Ivanov. He has quite the solution and one I think you’ll be quite interested in.”
The President invited him to the front of the conference room. “Okay, let’s hear it, Doc. The floor is yours.”
“Yes, sir. Thank you, Mr. President.” Ivanov shook President King’s hand. “So, as the VP said, I’m Doctor Ivanov. If you want something to shake things up in the US, then look no further.” Ivanov opened his briefcase and pulled out a container with some cells floating around.
“What am I looking at?” President King asked.
“This is a mutation. You see, I have created this mutation instead of making up a new virus. I call it the Rubix Cell. This particular cell can be infused with any other virus that’s ever plagued humanity and amplify its effects. Now, the extraordinary thing about the Rubix is that it can be used as a gas or a liquid. This effectively turns its host into a prisoner, if you will. It bends to the will of the Rubix,” Ivanov explained.
President King walked closer. “So, it’s parasitic?”
“Precisely. I have brought a demonstration. In this other container is what the common cold looks like in its purest form. I was able to get a sample from a human's saliva. Once I extracted the sample, I could drain the human saliva from the equation using UV Plasma. This leaves only the common cold samples in their purest form. Now pay close attention to what happens to the cold sample when I mix in the Rubix.” Ivanov took a syringe and a sample of the Rubix and injected it into the common cold.
The cells of the common cold visibly became more aggressive and even changed from a light green color to a purple hue.
“What the hell?” King was astonished.
Ivanov smiled, knowing that what he had created impressed everyone.
“So, Mr. President, what host shall Rubix take over?” Ivanov asked.
JD and Lynn’s House A Few Days Later
“I really appreciate you taking time off from work to help with the baby,” Lynn said.
“I’m her dad. There’s no thanking me for doing what I’m supposed to do,” JD replied.
“No, I do. Not every guy thinks that way. I’m extremely blessed to have you,” Lynn smiled.
They shared a quick kiss.
“So, I have an idea,” JD said.
“Okay? Let me hear it.” She got super perked up like a little kid.
“You know, I’ve been researching all of this one-world government stuff. Well, I think it’s time I revealed their entire plan on social media. Maybe to help people wake up,” JD said.
“No,” Lynn responded with a cold tone.
“No? What do you mean no?” JD asked.
“Just what I said. Are you trying to get yourself killed?! You have a little girl now,” Lynn said, getting emotional.
“Killed? Who’s going to kill me for that?” JD asked.
“Damn! You’re so fucking selfish! Do what you want!” Lynn snapped at him and stormed out of the room.
JD sat on the bed, confused. He looked over at Ayvah. She was still sleeping. “Well, it looks like Dad’s in the hot seat again, Princess.” He talked to sleeping Ayvah as if she could hear him.
He debated whether to leave her alone or pursue her, but he decided to pursue her.
“Babe? Where you at?” He called out.
He heard Lynn’s faint voice behind the bathroom door. “Leave me alone.”
He slowly opened the door. Lynn was sitting on the counter, crying.
“Hey,” JD said slowly as he walked up to her. She hugged him.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s been up with me. I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that,” she said.
“It’s okay, baby. You just went through a lot. I understand,” he said.
“I saw the video that you want to post,” she said, resting her chin on his shoulder.
“What?” JD pulled back and looked at her. “How?”
