The next morning.


After making breakfast, Ye Chen rode his small electric scooter to the Emgrand Group.


Parking his scooter near the Emgrand Group’s parking lot, he locked it up. Just then, a black Bentley slowly pulled into a parking space across from him.


Unintentionally looking up, Ye Chen saw a young couple step out of the car.

After speaking, she tossed her empty drink bottle at Ye Chen’s feet and scoffed, “Here, don’t say I don’t care for you. Pick this up and sell it for some cash.”


Wang Yunfei chuckled and said, “Although you’re trash, since we’re family, I should look out for you. Coincidentally, I have connections with the Emgrand Group’s vice chairman. How about I put in a good word for you and get you a job cleaning toilets?”


Ye Chen smirked coldly. “What kind of job I find is none of your concern. You should worry about yourself instead. The Emgrand Group is a big enterprise. I doubt they’d stoop to collaborate with someone as low-class as you.”


Wang Yunfei was furious. “Who are you calling low-class?”


Ye Chen sneered, “I’m talking about you.”


With that, he ignored Wang Yunfei and walked toward the Emgrand Group building.


“Damn it, stop right there!” Wang Yunfei caught up with him at the elevator.


He intended to teach Ye Chen a lesson—at least slap him a couple of times to show him the consequences of offending him.


However, noticing they were already inside the Emgrand Group’s premises, he worried about offending his business partners. Reluctantly, he decided to hold back for now.


Grinding his teeth, he said, “I’ll let you off this time, but you won’t be so lucky next time!”


Ye Chen snorted coldly and stepped into the elevator. He said, “Wang Yunfei, do you think you’re so great? Trust me, you’ll soon learn the price of arrogance.”


“You bastard…” Wang Yunfei was about to charge into the elevator when Xiao Weiwei pulled him back. She sneered, “Yunfei, don’t take the same elevator as this trash. He stinks!”


Wang Yunfei nodded, unwilling to lose face here. “Fine, I’ll let him go this time. But next time, he won’t be so lucky!”

Everything had been arranged by Tang Sihai. The person assigned to work with Ye Chen was a woman named Wang Dongxue.
