Lance had been eagerly waiting for his family to return from their camping trip. He had been busy with his college classes and missed out on the fun-filled adventure of camping in the great outdoors. However, now that his family was back, he couldn't contain his excitement to see them and hear all about their trip. As much as he wanted to join them on their camping trip, he couldn't.

As he pulled into the parking lot, his heart sunk when he saw his ten-year-old sister outside struggling to play with Ramen, the family dog. He knew how much she adored the energetic pup, but it seemed like Ramen didn't want anything to do with her. His sister's disappointed expression broke his heart and he quickly parked the car and rushed outside to help, but as soon as Ramen saw Lance, the dog jumped with joy, making his sister more angry "Hey lil sis, how'd you like your camping trip?" he asked

She replied with a disgruntled tone, expressing her dissatisfaction "It sucked, there was nothing to do"

Lance looked at her "Oh well it could be worse" He turned around to glance at her, he was taken aback by an unexpected sight. His sister was sitting on the grass, eating it with a thoughtful expression on her face. Lance excitedly burst into his parents' home and blurted out, "Did you know that Kendra is eating grass?" His mother, ignoring what he said, simply ran towards him and enveloped him in a warm hug. "Oh Lance honey, I sure wished you did join us on our family camping trip," she smiled. Lance, feeling emboldened, confidently informed his mother that he couldn't have joined them because he had mid-terms to study for. His mother's smile faltered for a moment before she replied with understanding, "Well, I hope you do well on your exams, sweetie. But don't forget to take breaks and spend time with your family too."
