The killer's intentions were clear as he pulled out a large knife, ready to strike at Katie. But she was quick on her feet, using defensive moves to protect herself from being stabbed or killed. With a swift high kick, Katie managed to knock the knife out of the killer's hand. She wasted no time in pulling out her own weapon, warning the killer not to try anything. Her confidence and bravery were evident as she stood her ground against the dangerous attacker. Despite the tense situation, Katie remained calm and focused, determined to protect herself and stop the killer from causing any further harm. In a quick second, the atmosphere shifted from tense to terrifying as the killer revealed a hidden gun from their back. Without hesitation, the killer fired at Katie, causing her to fall to the ground. As she lay there motionless, the killer coldly approached her to check if she was dead. However, in a sudden burst of strength and determination, Katie kicked the killer between the legs, buying herself enough time to crawl under the nearby table and retrieve the gun. With a fierce determination in her eyes, she fired at her attacker, landing a fatal shot to the head. The killer fell dead, their reign of terror finally put to an end by Katie's unexpected and swift retaliation. The room was filled with silence as Katie caught her breath as she stood there, finally her team came through the door "It's about fucking time" She swore.
Roberts checked on his partner
who was hutched over, her hands on both knees, trying to catch her breath. "You okay?" He asked, she opened her jacket to reveal her bullet proof vest. "I told you I had a plan," she grinned at him, in that moment, he felt grateful that his partner was okay and that her plan had worked. He quickly called for an ambulance.
As Roberts approached the killer, he let out a frustrated sigh and muttered, "Now let's see who this fucker is." He was determined to uncover the identity of this ruthless murderer. With gloves on, he reached out to pull off the cap and hood that covered the person's face. As he did so, he couldn't help but notice the remnants of red lipstick on the woman's lips and the soft strands of hair that rested gently on her shoulder. It was a stark contrast to the heinous crime she had committed. Roberts couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness as he looked at the once beautiful woman in front of him. He knew that her appearance didn't justify her actions, but he couldn't help but wonder what led her down this dark path.
A few weeks later, Roberts and his team gathered at a local bar where cops often frequented. As they celebrated their recent victory, Roberts felt proud of his team's accomplishments. He raised his glass in a toast and caught the eye of Katie who returned the gesture and smiled, Roberts couldn't help but feel a connection with her. But as the night went on, their conversation turned to a darker topic as Roberts revealed the tragic story of their killer Rebecca Harrison who was a former model who had a troubled upbringing. Her mother was incarcerated for prostitution, leaving Rebecca to fend for herself. As her mother brought different men home, Rebecca fell victim to their abuse. She began to resent prostitutes for her mother's actions, not fully understanding the complex circumstances that led her down that path.
"I, kinda feel sorry for her, she went through so much with no one to talk to" Katie said.
"Don't get to wrapped into to this sort of thing, leave that to the shrinks" Roberts said.
They raised their glasses and cheered.
