Chapter 43
We arrived in Root City and rented two rooms from the inn, Murausk took us to the store called magic whispers then asked about the tattoo. However, they did not know and even they tried to use magic to detect, it failed.
"That is so strange, they did not break their mind. "I said.
Murausk looked at me and said,"Should they? "
"The first one who did this, broke his mind and somehow this person here tried to kill a god. "Shayla explained. I gave her an ugly face in order to said she did not need to mention the god killing part and it failed.
Murausk clapped his hands and said I am truly a troublemaker or even a special kind of danger person. Now, my image in surface world was terrible thanks for this.
We then went to the church and I did not feel any weird or horrible, as I thought I might get headache while into the church. However, Shayla was the one who was being uncomfortable as lots of eyes were watching on her. We then found a secret place to wait for a priest, he carries a bible with a cross. He then said, "Blessing. "
"Hello, I would like to check my tattoo, are they any meaning for it? "I asked directly.
He then looked at my back but he seemed uncomfortable with an elf so quick to show her body to others. He then continued,"This is a league symbol. "
"League symbol? "I asked.
"But the coin, we already threw away, why there would be a symbol somehow? "Shayla asked and I didn't notice that the symbol is related with the shadowclans.
Murausk then asked,"Is there any way to undo it? "
"The way to do is the spellcaster died or undo it. "priest said.
"Perfect, that is a dead end. The one who stabbed me was a shadow and somehow we did not know anything about it. "I truly surrended by this.
Murausk was truly a smart person while I did not know what to do next, he then asked another wise question,"Would that be a way to block it or reduce the influence ? "
"With other magic or god-like power, that could be reduce the link between the spellcaster and you."the priest then left the place and returned to his room. So we then left the church, and went back to the inn for rest.
