Chapter 23

 

　　After dinner, we went out to the council and Desmond still was our tour guide for it. He told me that the books and coin of mine were left on my house, I barely remembered that for certain. But I still thanked him for it.

 

　　"Here. "Desmond took us to the City council and it had been closed for all the citizens due to meeting. However, Desmond persuaded the guards to let us in for the emergency.

 

　　When we entered the City council, they were arguing with noises. We did not know what exactly they were talking about so we made a quite good entrance. I yelled, "Objection! "

 

　　"Objection on what? "Zamldir looked at me and stood up straight in the chair of president. His reply made all of the committees looked at me including Commander Pearl and Sura, I swore he laughed and gave me a thumb up.

 

　　"We should discuss about what happened in surface world. "

 

　　"That is what we are talking about. "One of the committees who was a male mermaid claimed.

 

　　"Why don't we let Miss Nigella to tell us what happened as she is the eyewitness. "Desmond helped, and he claimed that was an objection for not inviting her to the meeting.

 

　　"That is vaild. We accept this objection, you may share what you have seen. Please stand in the middle. "The table suddenly moved and it made a space on the center for me to stand. I was very embarrassed but luckily Shayla and Desmond stood next to me in the center as well.

 

　　I shared my experience from Luplaso Returnees ceremony including meeting Shayla and Desmond to reached in here. We also claimed what we had faced or against during the journey, Sura also helped us for the certain moments but he skipped all the festival part,especially the dancing and partying.

 

　　"That sounds lots of details... "Pearl seemed nearly broken by her nerves. All the committees went silence and Zamldir said it was truly a lot of to take in. Then he tried to announce something, a giant nosie came to my head. All of the sudden, I was unable to control myself, I grabbed spear from Shayla and tried to jump over to kill Zamldir.

 

　　That was what I saw, but I did not know what happened and not able to control. My skin went darker and darker until my vision was blind.
