Now, it was time to plan our next trip. Tamsin and I wanted to go far in the future. After much arguing and discussion about what era we wanted to see, we settled on 2025. We all had to go home for the holidays, so we planned to meet up in January to take our trip. Jess and Mike were adamant that they did not want to be the guinea pigs just yet, so it was up to Tamsin and I to try again. We prepared in depth this time, because we didn't know how different things would be. We also made sure that both of us knew how the machine worked, just in case there was an issue. As we got in the machine this time, I felt that our goodbyes to Mike and Jess were somehow final. This time, as the light flashed, I told Tamsin, "I love you". She giggled and said "I love you, too". Then, the familiar thud and we were there.
