Chants of peaceful protestors echoed through the arch of the park as Rei arrived. While starting to look for a sitting spot, curious and having heard a little bit about the issue online, she joined the crowd. Listening in to further educate herself on the ongoing political issues that were happening in front of her eyes!


“Biden has signed a bill, issuing the United States to send 1 billion dollars in military aid to the state of Israel. A state founded on the illegal occupation of Palestine, 75 years of ongoing genocide, thousands of bombs being dropped on the Gaza Strip, displacing millions of Palestinian civilians! IDF soldiers have brutally killed, raped, and tortured thousands of innocent civilians, including children!”


It was that simple… All that Rei needed to hear to know exactly what side to stand for! A calling ignited in her heart and a thirst to demand JUSTICE!


Rei swore to stand in solidarity with Palestine, its people, and its land. She started to record, voicing the ongoing issues.
