Javier Perez Rizo was born in Cuba, January 18, 1990. He studied Creative Writing at "Onelio Jorge Cardoso" Literary Center, in Cuba and is a History graduate from Havana University. He has worked as high school history teacher and researcher for the Academy of Science of Cuba. He finished four-year courses in English and French language studies. He lives in Houston, where he writes speculative fiction, short stories and novels. He has published works in Academy of the Heart and Mind, Bewildering Stories and Black Hare Press.
