Zeta grabs Kiwi and sits her on his lap.

"Stay chill Kiwi. You're only going to survive this if you stay loose, that's what I read anyway. You're going to live."

"And what about you?"

"Me? Heh. I'm living right now. Today was the most ever I've lived, and even when I go splat, you'll never really let me die!"

Kiwi begins to cry, Zeta fights not to cry with her but tears escape.

"Kiwi. You are the warmth of the sun to me and even if I never see that big yellow space ball, I'll always know what its warmth felt like."

Kiwi's voice cracks.

"Zeta!"

Zeta feels Kiwi's warm tears.

"Kiwi. You are my wife and I'm spending the rest of my life with you."

Kiwi's giggles overpowers her cries.

"You've never let the darkness stop your jokes. That's why I could never leave you."

"You know me. I don't believe in bad endings."

Kiwi holds Zeta's arm. At this moment she feels all the contours. The muscle beneath the sleeve is tough and masculine.

"I love you, Zeta Boyega."

"I love you, Kiwi Kitagawa Boyega."
