The city wildlife has evolved and adapted somewhat better than many of the humans!

Rats, Grey Squirrels and Urban Foxes predominate and recently folk have reported the occasional badger.

Manchester, like London and several other well established cities, aims to have a nature friendly mixture of gardens and parks which provide corridors of safety for the displaced wildlife.

Then, with the proliferation of snack delivery fellows, who don't always achieve a timely and successful result, we see discarded food, not necessarily good for wildlife but they, like us humans, are attracted to the tantalising whiffs of fattening substances.
