Sometime in March, I got a break. Someone from Church told me I can move in with him and be a roommate. So I checked out the place. I liked it. I would move in the next Monday, and then I would chat with the landlord.
This meant I had to go to the local liquor store to use the ATM there, to withdraw money to pay for the first month.
Because I had a job, I was able to afford the rent, and because I worked a lot of overtime, I saved enough money to go to an auto dealer for a second-hand car. Sure, it was an old vehicle, but I only had to pay $70 a month for nine months, and the car was eventually mine.
The car ended up to be a lemon as it had transmission problems and the most serious of all, brake problems. The latter was the one I needed to take care of first.
A tew times I was able to see Aleia in the weekends, particularly one day before Father's Day. The best time I had with her was when she came to spend time with me for three days. I brought her to one of the Church dinner activities and everyone was sold glad to see her.
The Saturday I had to drive her back to her mother, I still had time to spend with her as I dropped her off to Gary Spatz's acting class, and then we hed lunch at PANERA BREAD. That was followed by a trip to the movie theater to watch a Disney cartoon, and then we ate dinner at an IN & OUT Burger before I had to drop her off to be with her mother.
The other great time I had with her was when she went with us to Universal Studios, to the Los Angeles Garment District, and the shopping malls in the Orange County area.
Things went bad for me in 2020 when I was do deeply depressed because I had no money to pay for my car or the rent,, that I was about to commit suicide. Fortunately, instead I called a hotline to tell them what I was about to do, and so the police were sent to take me to Scripps Hospital's Behavioral Section. I would end up there for a week and then I was released.
Later that year, I had problems with staying awake on the job, so I was finally let go in November. Thus I was totally depressed.
