Anjelica spent much of her return trip home studying up on her soon-to-be Earth character. It was a long trip to the ancient Æraistrelen galaxy and then to the planet of the same name.

The classic Æraistrelen psychic powers enabled her to get to know her namesake "Lilith" by simply downloading the original media into her head. She found herself quietly laughing as she went through the entire Frasier show series, and even peeped back into the television program that came before it, known as Cheers. She rather liked that Diane character.

"You know, you don't have to base your entire persona on this character, Highness," Davess, her personal attendant whispered into the silence after many hours.

Anjelica slowly opened her gleaming blue eyes.

"Yes, thank you, Davess, I am aware but I do so appreciate the concern," she smiled as warmly as an Æraistrelen could.

"I feel that your natural personality will be of great use to the Terrans. They do so need much discipline." Davess sat back, a look of annoyance grew upon his striking countenance.

"I agree actually," Anjelica stood to stretch her long legs. "This television character Lilith is actually a lot like me already, so I can see why it was selected for me. I do, however, prefer to appropriate the name as a tribute to the dark Goddess, Lilith." She walked over to a window for a glimpse at the rapidly passing cosmos. Æraistrelens were known for their deep spirituality.

"If I may, Majesty," Davess stood.

"Of course, Davess, you are my most trusted advisor, please," she gestured for Davess to continue.

"Highness, is it really so important to try and win this title? Everyone already knows that we Æraistrelens are, for all intents and purposes, overseers of the Universe. In a way, you are already the Queen of the Universe. Is it really necessary to, go to...Terra?"

"Davess, if it was going to be a problem, we would already know! I will be perfectly fine. We even have liaisons there now, so if there is ever any trouble, I can simply make contact with one of them." She reached out to pat Davess on the shoulder. "There is no need to worry about me." She felt a deep sense of duty now, in trying to win this title.

"Approaching Æraistrelen atmosphere," a voice came from the surround sound system. "Please take your seats."

"We're almost home, Davess. Let's sit." Anjelica took Davess gently by the arm and led him back to their seats.

They strapped themselves in and could start to feel the rapid descent.

"I didn't realize how excited I am to get home," Anjelica closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths.

"Home is excited to have you back, Your Majesty." Davess also closed his eyes in preparation for a potentially turbulent landing. Anjelica's hometown was high on an Æraistrelen mountain top and the airstrip leading up to it was known for its stormy conditions this time of year.

"I kind of like this part, Davess. I am sorry it unnerves you." Anjelica knew that Davess didn't enjoy a tumultuous landing.

"You know, on Terra, they have these intense storms called tornadoes." She continued, hoping to distract her troubled servant.

"I have heard about them, Highness. They sound awful."

She wasn't sure she was actually helping the cause.

"Well, they are much worse than this, and if the Terrans can deal with them, we can deal with this landing." Her trademark stoicism was prevalent in her voice.

Davess opened his eyes.

"You are right, Your Highness. Thank you. I can see why you must go to Terra - you are such a comforting leader." Davess' eyes twinkled with admiration.

"Thank you, Davess. I actually have a question for you," she spoke a little louder as the descent was getting bumpier and bumpier.

"What is that?" Davess' voice wavered in the turbulence.

"I was hoping you would accompany me to Terra. They said we could bring someone with us,"

"To Terra?" Davess no longer sounded concerned by a bumpy flight. "Highness, I don't know. Terra? Such an unrefined place."

"Oh please, Davess! I know exactly what we will call you and everything! I think that your presence would really help me out."

Suddenly, the landing began to smooth out as the mountain town came into view.

"Prepare for landing," the voice said again.

"Please Davess?" Anjelica sounded as if she was almost begging.

"What would you call me, Highness? You said you had a name for me?" Davess knew that he could not tell her no.

"Niles. He's a character from the same program as Lilith. He reminds me of you." Anjelica was smiling as her shuttle finally touched gently down.

"Niles," Davess said as if he was tasting it. "I like it, Majesty. Niles." He smiled.

"So is that a yes?"

"Yes, Majesty. I will accompany you to Terra."

The doors unlatched and opened automatically.

Davess stood and walked to the exit first, taking a quick safety glance around the area.

Anjelica's adoring public was outside, awaiting her arrival. The sky was blue and the many floral trees were in full bloom.

"Let us go, Your Highness. Everyone is waiting." Davess had a slight smile on his face, which was unusual for him.

"You'd better start practicing my Earth name, Niles." Anjelica beamed.

"Yes, Your - I mean, Yes, Lilith." Davess blushed a little.

"You're going to do beautifully," Anjelica said as she brushed past him to greet her eager subjects.
