After walking further down the path, he stopped in his tracks before he spoke. In the silence of the night, the trees blowing in the wind could be heard.
Then the stranger turned around, looked into her eyes, and asked with a smile, "Are you coming?"
He shifted from one foot to the other, and the leaves began crunching under his foot.
I don’t know if she will follow me. It is the first time we have seen each other, But I feel our hearts beating together. So, maybe, she will agree. He wondered while waiting for Lilian’s response to the question.
At the same time, Lilian had difficulty determining what she was to do since she was in a new place she had never seen before.
Not wanting to be left alone, I decided to follow him. Lilian thought as she steeled herself for her response. With a brake in the conversation, she breathed deeply.
"Alright, let's go," Lilian told him as resolve filled her voice. She was ready to take the journey down uncharted territories.
As those words left her mouth, she nodded reluctantly.
Then they continued further down the path, and a clearing opened up at what was before them.
Lilian's eyes widened, "Wow! This place is amazing!" She declared, inspecting each area with her eyes.
Up ahead, a beautiful red cabin surrounded by bushes contrasted with the dark scenery. This place is like a scene from a movie. One where everything appears perfect when in reality it was the opposite.
While I was deep in thought, the stranger's voice broke me out of my reverie.
“This cabin is far away from any evil and detestable creatures. Plus it is a comfortable place to live, even though you are not used to this type of world. " The stranger declared as he smiled a wide grin showing his long fangs.
Listening to his oddly comforting words, Lilian sighed. "Okay, I will trust you to keep me safe and away from harm." She told him while scratching her left arm.
'I am glad that she had agreed. I don't know where that would have left us if she hadn't.' The stranger thought as he listened intently to Lilian, his smile widening.
The stranger stretched his hand out, "Let's get inside before any of the creatures with malintent see you." He told her as he guided her inside of the cabin.
Noticing his demeanor, Lilian nodded toward him and then started walking further into the cabin.
With every step she took, she felt her nerves calming down. One inside, 'Wow, this place looks amazing!' Lilian thought as her eyes started scanning every inch of the place.
Out of nowhere, something or someone flew past them. "Charlie!? What the heck do you think you are doing?" The stranger asked one of his coven mates as his eyes turned cold and he crossed his arms.
