"You've come far," the wizard said, his voice deep and calm. "But the road ahead is treacherous, and you'll need more than just your sword to face what's coming."Armand watched the wizard warily, unsure of what to expect. Its mane seemed to shimmer like strands of silver, and its hooves struck the earth with a sound that resonated deep within the ground. The air around it seemed to hum with power, a creature of both beauty and terror."This is Azhara," the wizard said, his voice reverent. "A mythical steed, forged in the depths of the old world, bound by magic and ancient bloodlines. She has been waiting for a rider worthy of her."Armand's heart skipped a beat as he gazed at the magnificent creature. The horse seemed to radiate an aura of strength and mystery, and yet, there was something strangely familiar about it, as if the beast had been waiting for him, too."She's yours," the wizard continued, his eyes locking with Armand's. "Azhara will carry you when your legs can no longer move, and she will fight by your side when your sword is not enough. She is more than a steed. She is an ally, and she will know your heart. But be warned she does not trust easily."Armand took a step forward, his gaze fixed on the horse. He had been through so much already, and now this? A creature of legend, a companion of such power he wasn't sure if he was ready for this. But then, he looked at Celeste. Her eyes softened slightly as she watched him, and he could see the support in her gaze. She knew as well as he did that they couldn't afford to turn down any advantage, no matter how strange or unexpected.He took another step toward the horse, his hand outstretched. The horse stood still, watching him with eyes that seemed to see deep into his soul. When his fingers brushed against its sleek, black coat, there was a strange jolt of energy, like a bond forming between them. The horse's ears flicked back, and it snorted once, as if in acknowledgment of the connection.Azhara lowered her head slightly, almost as if bowing to him, and Armand felt a rush of gratitude and awe flood through him. He had always been a warrior, relying on his own strength, his own skill with the sword. But this this was different. This creature, this ally, had chosen him."I accept," Armand said quietly, his voice full of both wonder and resolve. "I accept Azhara as my companion."The wizard nodded approvingly. "You are wise. Then, Azhara took a step forward, her movements fluid and graceful, and Armand felt a sense of peace settle over him. There was something undeniably powerful about her an ancient magic that seemed to hum in time with his heartbeat.Celeste stepped up beside him, her expression a mixture of awe and amusement. "You always did have a way with creatures," she said with a smirk.Armand glanced at her, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I didn't ask for this," he said, though there was a certain warmth in his voice. "But it seems fate has other plans for me.""Fate has a way of doing that," Celeste replied, her voice softening as she looked at him. There was something more in her gaze now something that wasn't just partnership but something deeper. Something that Armand didn't fully understand but knew was growing between them.As the two of them stood there, the black horse standing beside Armand, they knew that their journey was far from over. Azhara would be their guide, their strength, and their protector. But it was up to them to decide how far they were willing to go to face the Beastmaster and what they would sacrifice in the process.
