“Who could’ve sent this?” Tanya asked no one in particular.
She had opened up the gift and had taken a peek inside. It wasn’t any poisonous gas or detonative devices. She had it thoroughly checked to confirm.
“Perhaps one of your many admirers.” Tanya turned to see her father and mother walking towards her.
“Why are you guys visiting all of a sudden? It’s a bit unusual.” Tanya asked as she smiled at the older couple and rushed to their side for a hug.
“My baby girl.” Her mother cooed as she held her little girl in her arms. “Your twin brothers say that they’re coming to see you, along with… Alvise.” Tanya watched their expressions and burst out laughing.
“Are you still unnerved by seeing my daughter with him? Or is it the fact that we had her without any sexual relations?” She said with a small smile. Her earlier conversation with her sister had put her in a much lighter mood.
“Tanya…” Her father called out with a much pensive face while her mother looked equally disturbed by her ease.
“Mom, Dad…” Tanya called out as she stared at the two of the people whom she had defied the laws of life and death to come back and save. “…don’t hate him. Please.”
The subject of Tanya having a child with Alvise from a Petri dish really disturbed and disappointed both Sylvester Parents. The fact that their last child’s first kid was brought into this world from unconsent and experimentation did nothing but fuel the hatred they had for the young man.
“I didn’t get to see my kids at Thanksgiving… ” Tanya spoke up, “Please let me be able to see them this Christmas.”
“‘Them’?” Her mother echoed in a questioning tone… “What do you mean by that, baby?” Her mother’s voice shook with both excitement and incredulousness at the becoming situation.
“Alvise and I had two kids. They were twins – a boy and a girl.” Her parents looked back at her with a torrent of emotions but she could recognize the struggle they had with two contrasting emotions attempting to surface and make a mess of them.
“Tanya…” Her mom cried out with pain at the surfacing of a painful memory. “Tanya…” Her husband wrapped his arms around her shaking form to try and comfort her.
Tanya looked at them with a bitter smile. She knew the ordeals she had gone through to have those kids come into this world. It was far worse than a life-scarring assault. It was the painful ordeal of how she was r*ped.
She wouldn’t be able to forget the ordeals she went through and the scars she had borne due to those ordeals, but she was glad…
…Glad that none of her family members had to face the same for any reason.
