The frozen lake cracked beneath his feet as his scepter touched the surface of Feng shui the division of his reality.
In a land far, far away, beyond the sky and planets above, lay a mystical realm filled with enchantment, joy, and wonder.
A place where love was the only missing piece.
A Place With No Name got it's name from Serene.
Serene was one of the first celestials, fifty years ago present when the world split into two.
Along with Serene and her twin brother Serenade as kids during a midpoint.
This was a curse Saturn, Serene and Serenade's father placed on Monotone.
Each set of twins were split into dark and light halves of each other at the age of 11.
Saturn a Guardian of Light a celestial who lived to the beat of his own heart, believed everyone was an individual even identical twins.
After the midpoint of Serene and Serenade, Monotone was a place of barely whispers.
Only judging eyes and body language are read as communication.
Celestials begin doing everything under the moon with discretion. Even love.
Celestials have always honored, Serene the first maiden of Monotone, who lost her voice screaming at the moon.
The moon would disappear for many nights leaving celestials easy targets for the Shadow Walkers, silhouettes of defeat and despair that are looking for someone to attach themselves to.
Misery one of them became the husband of Serene.
Her heart shined with glee so brightly he couldn't help but master how?
"Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, oh
Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius I love all y'all." Misery crooned in the wind of the sky above Serene who pretended not to be aware of the Shadow Walker.
"Subtlety doesn't suit you." She says blowing whispers into the air.
"You're such a good listener." Misery said without saying the words aloud.
"I know." Serene said with only her eyes, a technique called Mind Fluff.
Though the two worlds were never meant to collide romantically there was an undeniable force as the two celestials endured serendipity.
Serene and Misery soon after gave birth to twins Skye and Siren.
Skye ever so coy and sweet, filled with light and love.
Siren anxious and assertive filled with mischief and shadows.
Though their differences kept them as individuals, their bond solidified a unique pairing.
The bond split into two, a midpoint. On Skye and Siren's eleventh birthday.
Their parents discord caused a break and shift in Monotone's atmosphere between masculine and feminine along with a myriad of emotions.
Creating two magical realms; Lily and Dahlia on the planet Monotone.
White lilies filled the floor on one side of Monotone and Black Dahlias spread like wildfire on the other.
As a sea of darkness covered Siren's sienna brown feet.
Skye would come sashaying towards the edge of the abyss, followed by her long purple and white ombres.
Looking over at Siren then down.
"I guess we are where we're supposed to be." Skye says calmly.
"I guess so. " Siren says looking over into the abyss, moving a piece of hair from his eye.
Eleven years later Siren now a matured Shadow Walker has acknowledged his heartbeat for the first time while living on Monotone.
Many lived on the broken planet Monotone but two Celestials in general Siren and Passion, have watched and wondered and wondered and watched.
Attraction descended like a spider securing its web, mutual and pure.
Time harmonized their beating hearts.
Attempts to meet culminated in a moonlit park encounter, where smiles, warm embraces, and nose-rubbing gestures unfolded.
A chimney of smoke filled the air as spirals of smoke left Passion's mouth to dance in the wind.
Approaching with a smile Siren, greets Passion, with open arms.
After a warm, lengthy embrace Passion, walked even closer to Siren, whose cheeks flush maraschino cherry red.
Without letting go of each other's hands. Siren rubbed noses with Passion as their foreheads touch.
"You got one eye." Siren joked with a grin.
"So do you." Passion replied kissing Siren who pulls him closer.
Passion's intent was clear: never letting Siren go.
Siren felt trust, comfort, and bliss.
Passion filled with desire, comfort and fulfillment.
As days passed, they spent more time together, sharing moments like Equinox Moon.
It's all fun and games until someone falls in love and you don't share those same feelings.
Could this be what kept the two celestial hearts from beating as one?!
Romance wasn't on the radar or written in the stars however, a connection was made.
With no ulterior motive nor lust in the mind. Siren and Passion would watch and wonder.
Wonder and watch.
Oftentimes entertaining distractions as an attempt to fill the void of being alone.
A peck on the lips, and one tender touch ignited a forever harmony.
A leap of faith was all it took.
