Chapter 3&nbsp;Meanwhile, Morgana Brown found herself in the capital city, desperately seeking a new job. She'd resigned from Blackwood Inn, not just because she wanted to look for a new job, but because she was haunted by Luna; a ghost whose presence had made her life unbearable.&nbsp;Luna’s persistence had turned Morgana’s life upside down. Male clients, under Luna’s influence, mistook Morgana for a prostitute, a vessel for Luna to relive stolen moments with her fiancé, Adam. Adam, in turn, possessed the male clients, seeking to rekindle his love with Luna through them. Both ghosts craved more than fleeting possession; they yearned for permanent bodies. Luna aimed to seize Morgana's, while Adam searched for his own vessel.&nbsp;Morgana had once lived in the capital city with her mother, before her parents' separation. Her mother's remarriage brought a stepfather who disliked her, and later, a stepmother who echoed the sentiment when her father married his new fiancee. They deemed her ill-mannered, her defiant retorts a constant reminder of her resentment towards her biological parents.&nbsp;The escalating conflict disrupted the household's peace. Her father, Alexander Brown, felt responsible but overwhelmed. Reluctantly, he sent 14-year-old Morgana to live with a distant relative, Faith Brown, the old woman who cleaned at Blackwood Inn, where Morgana later worked at 18.&nbsp;From her first day at the inn, Luna's presence grew from subtle hints to outright torment. Possession became her weapon, forcing Morgana to obey her whispers. Luna was a force Morgana couldn't fight, bringing her to a specific room whenever a man checked in. That room held Adam's ghost, ready to possess the unsuspecting guest.&nbsp;The ghosts claimed that the room held their happiest memories, rented before their fatal accident nearby. Their vehicle, they said, lost its brakes, colliding with a container van. Now, vehicles frequently broke down at the accident site, a constant reminder of their bitter end.&nbsp;A blaring horn jolted Morgana from these terrifying memories. Walking through the city, the sun beat down on her skin. Noon approached, but she hadn't found a job. Luna's voice echoed, laced with contempt, "Still so stupid? It's noon, and nothing!"&nbsp;"Shut up! You're not helping," Morgana retorted, louder than intended. Passersby stared, whispering "Crazy!" She couldn't blame them; Luna's presence made her appear unwell.&nbsp;Ignoring Luna, she walked on. Then, with Luna influencing her mind she saw a job opening posted outside at Willow Restaurant, a delivery restaurant. But Morgana felt it like bait, a trap, that Luna had a connection to it. "'Maybe... I'm just getting paranoid'. Leaving the thoughts behind, 'I'll apply." she muttered.&nbsp;She entered Willow Restaurant. Not grand, but old, seemingly converted from a wedding venue to a delivery service.&nbsp;Luna's cold voice cut through her thoughts. "I'll get you that job. My peace offering for your lost job." Luna offered. Morgana felt her body shift, her own will fading. She moved with confidence, a longing in her eyes that wasn't her own. Possessed, she approached the counter. “Excuse me, where can I apply?” Her voice was polite, but a cold aura emanated from her.&nbsp;The cashier, a young woman with tired eyes, smiled wearily. “You can talk to the owner. Wait here.” She disappeared into the back.&nbsp;As Morgana waited, fragmented images flashed through her mind: a grand venue, laughter, a forced smile, a young woman being pressured… Then, darkness.&nbsp;The cashier returned. “Mr. Miller will see you.” She glanced at Morgana with curiosity, "You can go."&nbsp;Inside the office, a middle-aged man with weary eyes sat behind a cluttered desk. "Good morning," Morgana said, the name "Luna Miller" almost escaping her lips. She caught herself. "I'm Morgana Brown, Sir!"&nbsp;Mr. Miller's eyes widened. "Luna… I thought…" He shook his head, a flicker of pain crossing his face.&nbsp; "I guess you just miss someone named Luna, Sir?” Morgana answered.&nbsp;“I guess. Luna is the name of my eldest daughter. She passed away.” The owner answered in a casual tone. No hint that he misses his daughter. He seemed not sad that she was dead.&nbsp;Influenced by Luna, Morgana’s happiness subtly turned to hate, her eyes darkened for a while but Mr. Miller was oblivious to it.&nbsp;“I am Mr. Robert Miller. So, why are you here?” He speaks calmly.&nbsp;Morgana answered, “I would like to apply for the job posting outside, a delivery driver.”&nbsp;Mr. Miller nodded. “Yes, we need another one, but only a part-timer. You can work here.” “Really? Thank you, Sir!” A meaningful smile appeared on Morgana's face. “No worries. You can start now. We have many orders.” “Thank you so much, Sir.” “It is nothing. Can you start working now?” “Yes, Sir,” Morgana answered. Luna left her body after she carried out her plans.&nbsp;Morgana’s mind is now filled with worry. I don't have control over Luna, what disaster awaits me?&nbsp;Mr. Miller’s voice cut through Morgana’s thoughts. "Okay. I’ll introduce you to Crystal, my youngest daughter so she can give you the customer order details.” He brought her to the kitchen, and introduced her daughter. “Don’t hesitate to ask her anything.” He smiled and continued, “She is kind, unlike Luna.”&nbsp;"Ah, nice to meet you, Ma’am,” Morgana greeted Crystal nicely.&nbsp;Crystal, standing in front of her. She seemed kind and humble. Crystal explained the delivery process. She gave Morgana the schedule,”You would deliver orders from 9 am to 6 pm.” Crystal smiled as she told her. Morgana smiled back.&nbsp;Morgana rode the motorcycle for deliveries. As she delivered orders throughout the day, she experienced various attitudes from customers. Some were kind, some grumpy, and others openly showed desire for her because of her beauty. With each customer, she felt tension and fear, wishing Luna would not reappear, a nightmare that kept returning.&nbsp;The worst part was that she was being used by Luna to fulfill a promise to her beloved man, that they would be together again to continue their love affair, which was once hindered by everyone.&nbsp;She couldn't escape or stop Luna’s whispers but fought hard to control herself; a game she could never win.&nbsp;There was no certainty how long Luna would push her toward different men possessed by her lover Adam.&nbsp;After a moment she felt Luna’s presence again. Planning how she can connect with Adam once again now that Morgana was not at the Blackwood Inn.&nbsp;"Adam is in Casper’s body,” Luna whispers in Morgana’s mind.&nbsp;”So, what are you planning to do?” Morgana connects with Luna, her heart hammers in her chest.&nbsp;“The same as before.” Luna answered firmly.&nbsp;“Damn it! That can't happen!” Morgana exclaimed in a hysterical voice.&nbsp;“Why not? Can you stop me, Morgana?” Luna whispered angrily.&nbsp;She was about to answer but had to remain silent, people looking at her, judging she has mental illness, noticing she seemed to be talking to herself in public.&nbsp;Morgana remembered Casper, who had checked in at the Blackwood Inn. That night, she felt like Adam possessed him. She wanted to warn him before he left the inn, but she couldn't. How could she do that if Adam was in him? Surely, if she interfered, Adam would hurt her.&nbsp;Of all the men she had met possessed by Adam, Casper was the only one Luna couldn't attract in bed. She recalled that night when Luna directed her into Casper’s rented room or so she thought.&nbsp;Casper had resisted Luna's influence, a deviation from her past successes.
