GO in his library with WH "so this is the watch??" Points at a picture in a very old book.
WH "yes, yes and for the tenth time YES!"
GO "you have to be one hundred percent sure now, the marking here on the back..." Shoving the book in WH' face. "This is here yes?...and the glass red droplet that remains in tact yes?......"
"......answer me man!!."
WH "yes I'm sure...."
GO "and your wife's name was Boudurant you say?
WH is studying the book with the watch in.
GO "well....??"
WH "well???..."
GO "boudurant!!....her fucking name.....was it boudurant!!??"
WH still staring at the book all nonchalant "eerrrm yes.....yes.... bou..durant.......it.....it says here that the old man is thought to still be alive.....that's what she's always told me but that would make him two thousand years old...."
GO "more like a million years.....but you said you saw it.....with the cat I mean.....and a bird if I'm not mistaken.
WH "yes"
GO "tell me about the cat, spare no detail"
Turns to animation with WH narrating
WH "well this cat was the dumbest cat in the world....it would fall down the steps....fall up the steps even..."
".....get stuck up the same damn tree every damn day.......get this....it would ride around on a horse like it was people (giggles) now that was something...."
Back to library.
GO "can we hurry to the part where it...." (makes a choking noise and pretends to hang himself)
WH "okay okay keep your pants on"
Back to animation.
WH "so the stupid thing falls out of the tree one day, neck snapped, I mean head backwards kinda snapped....I hear my daughter screaming in the yard so I run out and she's distraught....so anyway now we have to have a funeral for the cat so I put the blasted thing in a little wooden box I had to make and as I bent down to place it in the hole I had to dig my wife's father's watch, that watch there in the book fell out of my shirt pocket into the box then not a few seconds later the little sack starts moving n the cat is meowing it's little whiskers off again...."
Back to library.
WH "...after being dead for 2 days.......I mean it was already starting to smell like death......and I put out milk for that very same cat just this morning....." WH points at book "may I take this with me for a couple of days? You know for research"
GO "48 hours and do not take it out of its covering unless you are reading it in a secure place.....there are people that can not know of it's whereabouts......or even it's existence"
