<p>Sarah is looking at the mobile phone in front of her and still cannot believe, that she just answered a phone call from her own number. Well, it was very short, because she was so shocked as she heard a voice, which sounds like hers at, that she dropped it. Now, after she looked at it, which phone number it was, she realised, that it was HER number! She is confused, she does not know, what to do. She looks at her luggage, which is already backed. The car, which brings her to the airboat, will come in about 2 hours. How is this possible and why the hack would she receive a phone call with her own number. HOW IST THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? She is very nervous now. She Always got nervous before flights, but this is something else. She hardly drinks alcohol, but right now, she goes to the counter of the little bar in her apartment and takes out a bottle of whiskey and a glass. This is now too much to take, even for her. She fills the glass as the phone rings again. She looks at it. Shall she pick it up? Is it again herself? Is she getting crazy? She let it ring for a while, but it does not stop ringing, so she goes back to the kitchen table with the second glass of pure whiskey. She takes a deep breath and looks at the number, which is again HERS. A second deep breath and she presses the green button.</p><p>“Alright, whoever you are, you had your laughs, but now. I hope this is it!” The other voice replies. “I am sorry, that I have to scare you like that.” Sarah starts to shiver slightly. “Who the f….. are you and what the f….. do you want?” “Well, I am Sarah as well. I am a version of you. The version, who is already in another timeline.” “Come on. That is not funny anymore. I know that with AI you can do a lot of sh….. already. Like faking other voices etc. There is enough already on YouTube and co, with things like: ‘funny video with my cat, with the voice of David Attenborough’ etc., so who the hell are you really?” “I feared that this might happen Sarah.” “Alright and why the hack I should call myself from another timeline?” “I do it, because I want to warn you.” “Warn me from what and how you want to proof that?”, the Sarah on the table replied. The voice at the other line says: “I bet you backed already. I am sure, you are finished, because when you are nervous, you are very early with things and I bet, the bags are standing already next to the door, so that you only have to take them. It is a big suitcase and a little one. Gray, not really standing out.” Sarah looks across the kitchen-area to the entrance door of her little apartment. She feels a bit weird, as she hears that description. Somehow caught and watched . “Well, there are several who have such suitcases and also several, who will leave them like them, or have similar habits like me.” Sarah replies. “This is not a proof at all. And what the hell you want to warn me of? I am heaving an opportunity of my life and I will take it!” “I know, that you think so now, but I also hopped to get you, before you are in the car.” “Well, the driver will be here in about 1,5 hours, so I am not sure, what the hack you want to warn me about.” “It’s a trap Sarah.” “A trap? A trap what for?” “You would be a part of experiments, which are not really great.” “Why, aren’t we jumping around in the timelines?” “Well, you will not only do that I fear. Did you hear about ‘human farms’?” “I was hearing about something, where some claim, they kept women, to harvest their egg-cells, but come on. That is a bloody conspiracy theory.” “Sarah, what might happen, when I tell you that it is not only that, but that I am right now in a time, where I am in such a laboratory.” “I would ask you, how it comes, that they did not already put you in a jail, if that is the truth.” “I can tell you Sarah. Because I did everything, to get the leadership in this project. So I have access to a lot of information.” “Alright and you also want to tell me, that there are no guards, etc.” “Actually I am in a room, where I know, that no one else is allowed into it, except myself AND where I can turn certain cameras etc. for a while on and off. Even I have only a certain amount at the day, where I am allowed to do so, but I can do it, because of my rank.” “Your rank? I have a rank in the future? How come?” “Because it is a future no one wants to live in. Even scientists are either in the military with a rank, or in jail, because they are seen as a problem.” “That does not sound really good, to be honest.” “Sarah, it is really going downhill in this future I am in and I want, that you record all, what I am telling you right now. Go do someone, who knows a lot about IT and is in the hacker scene, because we have to stop that madness.” “Yes, but when I do not go there, how should it then happen?” “Sarah, it will happen with or without you. But right now, you have the choice of making the future different. If you take this opportunity, you will end up in a world, which is a mixture of Huxley’s and Orwell’s books AND the German film from the 1920s called Metropolis. I hope you get, what I am telling you?” “Alright I don’t remember all from each of it, but if that is really true, then it sounds like it will be an awful future.” “Honey, I am afraid, it will be, if you do not decide it otherwise.” “But how? I told them already, that I will work with them. I do not know, what to tell them.” “Well, I was thinking about that already. Remember, I am calling from a timeline, where I know, what comes next. I am also surrounded by people who are rebellions like myself and some of them, will help me, when you decide to take another turn as you wanted to do.” “Alright, but does it not change already as soon as I am not arriving there? You might not be a leader anymore, or something.” “Something might change for sure, but it is hard to explain right now. What I can tell you is, that I have everything we need, to change the future. I have really not much time now, to explain all that.” “Alright, alright. God, I was so looking forward to it.” “Sarah, this, what I ask you to do, is so much more. You would change the history of human kind.” “Is it really so terrible?” “Yes, because not only, that we are living in tyranny and fear, it is worse than this.” “In which way?” “These human farms are for the upper class. Most of them are transhuman, but still need certain organs to live on. These farms are here, that they can breed humans, which will get only numbers. And when they need new body-parts, because there others are old, they just harvest, what they need. Those humans are only bred, for getting killed and used, whenever they need it. Those are males and females, but none turn older then 35 years old. Some tried to flee, but got killed instantly and used. What I also could realise is, that they sort out, who are very intelligent. Those are lucky enough, to be scientists and doctors, but it is horrible what they are doing. That they do not have any emotions, they have a surgery by a certain age. A kind of modern lobotomy. I guess you know, what that means.” “That sounds really terrible. What the f……? How and when did that happen?” From your time it will be staring in about 5-10 years. Also, you still work? I thought in Europe they have retirement.” “Sarah, retirement does not exist anymore. As soon, as you are getting to unhealthy for working, they put you do sleep.” “What? What the f….. is going on?” “Well, the world was taken over by insane people and the most did not see it coming. You should have realised, that humans are nothing for them, as they evented the word ‘human recourses.’ We are only cattle, in fact, they keep us now worse than cattle.” Sarah gets up and takes the third glass of whiskey and takes another one with her back to the table. “You are drinking Sarah, aren’t you?” “What else should I do?” “Well, that is not too bad, because it will help us for our plan.” “I really do not want to have to live in such a future, but I am also a bit scared, of what will come.” “As odd, as it is, I would not do anything, which would harm you Sarah. Why the hell I would harm myself?” Sarah sighs, and says at the end: “Alright, you convinced me. What I have to do now?” “Relax and well, you will soon be in a car, except, that this one, has more people in it. Some of them will get out, with the corps of the clone. My helper will be there a few minutes earlier to take you. You will have to leave the suitcase behind, and everything else. Don’t worry, you can buy new stuff and many more. I will not let you down, no matter what. I mean, I was never suicidal, so I won’t do anything to harm you/me/us. God, that is also for me awkward, but I promise you, it will be all alright. From now on, just let certain things happen. You will be alright Sarah.” Sarah drinks the fourth glass and says: “Alright, I do what I can.” “So you will not go to Geneve and instead with my colleagues?” “Yes, I will. Only one question. Will they stay in the past, or how should I understand this?” “Yes, they will stay with the knowledge and data they have with you in the past. They agreed to it and are fine with it.” “Alright. Will there be a signal or something?” “They will text you. Don’t worry, it will be alright.” “Good. Now I do not know, what to say.” “Do not worry about that Sarah. What I tell you is good luck.” “Thanks, I guess.” Soon it is silent again and Sarah is still not sure, if she just had a glass too much, or if it was real. She was getting tired of all the drinks and switches to a strong Mocha. She could not get over, what she just heard. What a freaking dark future would that be? Now she tries to do, whatever she can, to change that and that it is hopefully brighter. 30 minutes later, she got a text message and put her stuff together. Now she is glad, that she never took a pet in, she takes a last look at her first little appartement she was so proud of, as she got it 4 years ago. She still loves it and tears are filling her eyes, she somehow does not want to leave it behind, but deep inside she knows, that she has to do so, if she wants to change the plans of some evil people. As she leaves, she sees already the car at the street. She was so stunned as she sees the woman in the wheelchair. It looks like her twin. She does not have one. She hands the suitcases over as well as her mobile phone, where she had the weirdest conversation ever. She starts to shiver, as she opens the door of the car. A blond nice looking guy, around her age sits there and gives her a warm smile. The driver was looking into the mirror, as she steps in and she could see, that he had a blue and a brown eye. The driver just nods shortly. “Well, this is now an odd situation, because until now, you where my boss and so much older than myself. Hi, my name is Adrian." Sarah smiles and steps inside. She does not know why, but feels save, to do so. </p>
