Everyone was astonished at the numbers of keen train spotters who had assembled at bridges, stations and other vantage points along the line. How did they know the train was coming? They were festooned with long lenses on powerful cameras, large bushy beards and capacious tummies. It appeared that their womenfolk had largely been left behind.
When breakfast was served, several Dachshunds followed their pack instinct and arranged a raid upon the sausages.
Some cats, in the next compartment, were reprimanded, having found that the old moquette upholstery formed an admirable claw sharpening material.
