Queen Arcadia walked down the grand main hall of the castle, the first rays of dawn streaming through the tall windows. As she made her way towards the throne room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the beautifully crafted Knight statues and intricate paintings adorning the walls. But she had a task at hand, and she walked up to a door on the right and knocked.
"Come in," a voice answered from inside.
Queen Arcadia entered the room and found herself in Sir Hodge's quarters. He was a man in his thirties, sitting on his bed next to a window.
"Sir Hodge, I need you to retrieve the diamond fork for me," Queen Arcadia said, getting straight to the point. "It's in a cave beyond the forbidden forest, guarded by a dragon. You have two options - go by yourself or take Dame Jarvis with you. She knows the way and has a map."
Sir Hodge thought for a moment before making his decision.
"I'll go by myself," he said in a determined tone.
He left his room and made his way down the main hall to the stables. Saddling a horse, he set off towards the forbidden forest. As he rode, the wind whipping through his hair, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with apprehension.
Finally, he reached the edge of the forbidden forest and entered on horseback. Following a dirt path, he eventually came to a bridge. But before he could cross, he spotted the diamond fork in the distance, glinting in the sunlight.
Without hesitation, Sir Hodge dismounted his horse and made his way towards it. But as he approached the bridge, he heard a voice behind him.
"Sir Hodge, wait! You mustn't cross that bridge alone."
Sir Hodge turned to see Dame Jarvis riding towards him. Without another word, she joined him, and together, they crossed the bridge, facing whatever challenges lay ahead.
