Dewi Purbalara did not continue her sentence, suddenly her face turned red because she almost jumped out of the wrong time to say the word. It was all because her feelings for Arya grew bigger and deeper, since the first time she saw the Eagle Warrior from Andalas on the edge of the skull.
"Why didn't the White Crocodile Demon Queen continue her sentence? What exactly did she want to say?" Arya muttered to himself while scratching his head.
*******
Arya had been in the white crocodile palace for three days, during those 3 days he also used the time to influence the followers of Dewi Purbalara so that they would want to free themselves from the evil influence of the White Crocodile Demon Queen, making them tools that could be sacrificed at any time if there was interference from a kind of demon or troops of other natural creatures attacking to fight for territory.
However, so far Arya had not had the slightest success, even though he had tried hard to convince the followers of Dewi Purbalara who mostly came from various villages.
Arya certainly did not force himself in giving awareness to the followers of the White Crocodile Demon Queen, he still did it subtly so as not to arouse suspicion from Dewi Purbalara or Gento Ireng who began to dislike his presence in the palace.
Gento Ireng's dislike was not without reason, Arya had only been there for 3 days but Dewi Purbalara had already given him too much special treatment. While he who had served there for years had not once received special attention, like the attention given by his lord to Arya.
That afternoon when Arya was chatting with several soldiers at the front of the palace, Gento Ireng met Dewi Purbalara in the room where she usually sat on her throne.
"Forgive your majesty if I came to see you without your majesty ordering me," said Gento Ireng while giving a respectful greeting.
Dewi Purbalara smiled and nodded her head.
"Please sit down Gento, what is the matter that you have come to see me?"
Gento Ireng sat on a chair a few spears in front of the Queen's throne.
“Excuse me, Your Majesty, I came to see you because I wanted to convey something that I thought would endanger this white crocodile palace.”
Hearing Gento Ireng’s words, Dewi Purbalara immediately stood up from her seat.
“Something that could endanger the palace? Tell me what it is?!
Gento Ireng bowed again.
“Excuse me, Your Majesty, I am suspicious of Arya’s movements in the past few days.”
Dewi Purbalara, who was about to sit back on the throne, suddenly changed her mind.
“Arya’s movements? What do you mean, Gento Ireng?”
Gento Ireng took a deep breath for a moment because she was worried that Dewi Purbalara would not believe what she was about to say, which would certainly result in her being scolded by her lord.
“Excuse me, Your Majesty, Arya seems to be trying to influence the soldiers and palace guards so that they no longer submit and obey Your Majesty.”
Gento Ireng’s suspicions were right that Dewi Purbalara would not believe what she said, the White Crocodile Demon Queen’s eyes widened.
“What are you talking about Gento..?! Arya could not possibly do that, don’t you dare accuse him of things that are not true. You know what punishment I will give if I get angry?!”
Although Gento Ireng was afraid and his courage was shrinking, he tried to convince his lord of all his suspicions about Arya.
"I know the consequences if I make His Majesty very angry, but I say all this honestly. Your Majesty should not trust Arya too much, it seems like his attitude is very different from His Majesty's other followers. I will prove that what I said is true, Your Majesty please be careful not to trust him too much."
After hearing and seeing Gento Ireng speak and being willing to accept punishment for what he said if it was not proven true, Dewi Purbalara sat back on her throne, she was made to think about everything that Gento Ireng said.
"Okay, I want proof of everything you said."
Gento Ireng bowed respectfully, then nodded his head.
"I will immediately look for the evidence and show it to His Majesty, I will excuse myself for that."
*******
Dewi Purbalara nodded her head and then invited Gento Ireng to leave the room.
That night, for some reason, Dewi Purbalara suddenly wanted to meet Arya without asking one of her guards to call the warrior to come to her, all she did was ask the guards along the corridor to the front of the palace about Arya's whereabouts.
After getting information from one of the guards at the front of the palace about Arya who was sitting relaxed on a chair in the garden on the left side of the palace yard, Dewi Purbalara approached him there.
"What are you doing Arya, just sitting here alone?"
Arya, who was half daydreaming, was shocked when a voice he recognized suddenly greeted him.
"Eh, you're Dewi. Sorry because I was so comfortable sitting here while enjoying the beauty of the garden, that I didn't realize Dewi came over to me."
Dewi Purbalara just smiled, then Arya stood up from his seat.
"What's wrong Dewi?"
Dewi Purbalara smiled again, there was not the slightest suspicion in her heart seeing Arya surprised when she came over.
“Nothing, please sit down again. I just wanted to chat with you, I happened to be bored being in the palace so I came out and when I saw you sitting here alone I approached you.”
Arya smiled back then side by side with the Queen who owned the magnificent palace sat on the chair where he had been sitting before, while Dewi Purbalara was next to him.
“I thought you never came out of the palace room when night fell, that’s why I was surprised earlier.”
Dewi smiled sweetly again, Arya returned it.
“When I get bored in the room I will come to this garden, either during the day or at night.”
“Is that so?”
Dewi nodded to confirm what she had said earlier.
“I want to ask, is it true that you are trying to influence the soldiers and palace guards here...?”
