I look up to see Alyx asleep on the rooftop, looking ridiculously comfortable in the dark or the night. I can't help but let out a breath as I hear hammering on the door, muffled voices shouting (presumably at me) to ‘get out in the name of the law!’ cute really that they think they’re so powerful behind a heavy door locked into place.

I take a breath and hold onto the briefcase tightly as I begin to clamber up the rope (which is easier said than done!) And of course.

It begins to rain.

The assiduous rain creates a slippery wet rope (which is very hard to climb as you can imagine.) as I'm attempting this treacherous journey. I hear the door down below cave in and guns blaring as they shoot everything but not at me (why do people never look up?!) I finally reach the rooftop and collapse beside Alyx

“Fat load of help you were” I say to him as cold rain splashes on my forehead, he wakes up grumbling and looks at me - soaking wet from the climb and knuckles white from holding onto the briefcase for so long.

“You seem to have done alright”  he says detached. I roll my eyes and lie down, exhausted waiting for the helicopter to swoop in and grab us both.

I notice Axyl reaching towards me and I immediately grab the briefcase - knowing it was this that he wanted I make a tutting sound and wag my finger patronisingly before speaking. “You don't get your shiny rocks until I get my money alright?” i say smirking as i shake the briefcase in front of his face as you would keys with a cat

“Don't do that you idiot!” He snaps angrily trying to grab it “do you know how expensive these are?!”

I didn’t know but i wouldn't give him the satisfaction of thinking he knew more than me so i just rolled my eyes and lay back down
