Hi !! My name is Bernie and I live in Rosser Manitoba Canada near the city of Winnipeg which is lovingly nicknamed "Winterpeg" because of our cold snowy winters here in The Great White North. Winnipeg is also known for its connection to "Winnie" the Pooh! I am a retired Public Health Dentist and I love animals. I always said I wish I could own a Zoo for rescued wildlife. I did operate a kitty rescue after my retirement from Public Service... sadly I had to give that up due to health issues. I still have 4 kitties living with me on my hobby farm which over the years has also been home to dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese and sheep. Several other critters visit from time to time such as skunks, racoons, fox, coyotes, wolves and a variety of birds. Two years ago I had a studio built attached to the house so that I could indulge my passion for art.. I am totally enjoying myself in my retirement! I have also started writing a Book. I look forward to being part of the Novelo Community and meeting other members and story tellers!
