Heart racing, cold sweats. I sprang from my bed in a panic. The sun was starting to pierce through my blinds. "It was just a dream..." I said as I let out a breath of relief.

"It happened again" I said as I laid on the couch at my therapists office. "The same dream?" She asked in a concerned but caring tone. "Why don't you tell me about it?"

I took a deep breath wondering how in the world that would help me. I hated the thought of saying the words out loud let alone thinking about it. She's the professional though maybe finally speaking about the dream might help it to stop. I closed my eyes took another breath and started to speak

"It started as any normal day. I was on my way to work. I remember being in a rush. I had slept through my alarm clock. I raced down my apartment stairs carrying my bike. I reached the door to go outside. I said hello to my neighbor who was coming in after walking his dog" eyes still closed I could hear my therapists taking notes. I continued with the dream.  " I hopped on my bike and began my ride to work. I was going faster than normal because of being late. Maybe I wasn't paying attention to street lights because of this fact. I remember crossing the street then out of nowhere it was complete darkness. This wasn't any darkness though. I could feel it. It was tangible" My heart started to race and my palms started to sweat. I could feel the darkness again. "Thats when I saw Him". "Saw who?" She asked. "God. He was looking down on me from within the darkness. He spoke the words "depart from me you worker of lawlessness I never knew you" tears start to stream down my face. I grew up in a Christian household. Full of rules, forced to go to church every Sunday. I knew of Jesus but I never really knew Him personally, because of this I decided to do my own thing in life. I continued with the dream "immediately the ground started to open below me I could hear screams the most terrifying screams" my body started to shake sweat beading down my forehead. "A demon came from this endless hole in the ground and grabbed me by it's sharp tallon like nails piercing through my skin. I screamed in agony. The demon began to descend down into the bottomless pit. The screams became louder. The deeper we went the hotter it got. I could see fire everywhere yet it was dark." I could swear I started to feel the flames on my skin I continued telling the 'dream'. " All of the sudden the demon threw me into a pit full of lava my skin started to boil and fall off my bones screaming in pain." I opened my eyes the room started to melt away my therapists was gone. "What's going on?!" I tried to scream but the flames from the red hot lava filled my throat. This isn't a dream this is real!!! Why didn't I listen to my parents about Jesus and hell?!?! This is real. My flesh burning away down to the bone. It's too late I'm trapped here for eternity! Heart racing, cold sweats. I sprang from my bed in a panic. The sun was starting to pierce through my blinds. "It was just a dream".
