It was just a dream, she thought as she traveled down the isolated highway. Her memories were manipulating her again, tricking her to think he loved her. Her soul would not stop yearning for him, convincing her he was her twin flame, that their love was real, but it was just a dream. 4 years before she had ran to the gas station to get an energy drink, while waiting in line in walks an old friend she hadn’t seen in 20 years. Less than an hour later he was messaging her, telling her she hadn’t aged. The messages went on and on and on and they quickly and passionately fell madly in love. They couldn’t get enough of each other. Both claiming to have found their person. less than a month later he moved in and she finally had everything she wanted. True love!! A family, a father figure for her children, and all the things. He was honest and loyal and would never hurt her!
