&nbsp;&nbsp;Have you ever been trapped in a place that you couldn't find your way out of, a place where you couldn't movebut you keep watching this thing in a form of a person taunting you. For 10 days, I unknowingly laid in a bed inICU not able to move, speak, or breathe on my own being tortured by this thing, this evil. Each day for me only.seemed like one day for the nights never changed to the bright morning only darkness resided, day after day.Myfirst memory was a familiar face riding on a bike making gestures for me to come and join in the fun, but itdidn't feel right nor comfortable. I was afraid and very confused, this dream seemed never ending almost like Iwas dying in my sleep. I didn't toss neither did I turn, I just stared and stared at this thing or things that appearedin front of me and I couldn't fight it. Weirdly at one point in time in this place I remember hearing the phoneringing near where I laid my head, but this made no sense. Where was it coming from? Why was it ringing overand over? Who was calling me and why was it the only sound I could hear? It was driving me crazy I couldn'thear the the things speak, but yet they desired for me to come but I had no desire to respond. Slowly everythingaround me begin to fade away and as I looked down into my hands their was a phone that wasn't familiar andthen a ring. Why was this phone ringing? I decided to see who was calling, but for what seemed like hours Istruggled to open it or to speak words into it.Finally, I answered the phone but only to hear this deep groaning in the background from an instrument, aninstrument I couldn't put my finger on. This sound was so dark, so gloomy it caused me to shut down and tocease from trying to figure out who was calling this phone any longer. In a way I gave up, but I didn't know whatI was giving up on, I didn't understand what I was dealing with or where I was or if I was just dreaming. Thensuddenly I heard a voice , a voice that had been haunting me for years and sadly every time it called I wouldanswer. But I couldn't answer this time, I didn't want to answer this time because for the first time I saw the faceof the voice that for over 20 years called to me and now long for me to die. No longer was I afraid but now Iwanted to get away and didn't know where to go or what to do.All I could remember was trying to hide the phone in this equipment used to put files in because I didn't wantanyone to see me with it. I took a glance around to see if anyone or thing ,was watching me, and if that thingwas still watching me, like I remembered how it used to watch me. I knew it was watching but this timesomething was different, why was it showing itself? Although it wasn't in its true form it chose to appear in aform, almost as if to let me know it was real. Now suddenly everything started to feel real, a bright light frombehind that place were I laid started to shine. The intensity of the light changed my environment, I begin to hearthe sounds of people, their voices, the sounds of the shoes walking up and down the halls, the beeping of amachine next to my bed. All of a sudden a doctor and a nurse entered the room I was in asking me questionafter question. I was confused I knew I was in a hospital but I didn't understand why or how or when, then thatone question I will always remember was asked by the doctor, "Do you know what day it is?" I shook my head tosay no, and the doctor said "It is November 22, and you've been here for 10 days. We brought you in onNovember 12th, after the EMT's found you in an apartment unresponsive to light or sound." As he continue tospeak I drew a blank for now I knew I wasn't in A NIGHTMARE, but was DYING AND WAS GIVEN ANOTHERCHANCE TO LIVE.
