She couldn't sleep after everything that had happened and just couldn't explain anything. She was feeling frustrated, but mostly scared. Why is this happening? Was it something she had done wrong? Only heaven knows what's going on. She knew there was no point in overthinking, but could she help it? Nope. Unfortunately not. Obviously she need sleep and was extremely tired, but she was absolutely terrified to go to sleep. She did not want to see that terrifying face with the huge creepy smile. Gives her goosebumps just thinking about it.
A distraction. That is exactly what she needed. She went to the living room and put on the TV. A moment later... she found herself too comfortable on the couch and unfortunately fell asleep. This is what she feared, but no worries. She instantly woke up. No nightmares. She was relieved and thirsty so she went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, but then someone rang the doorbell.
She had no idea who it could be, this late. Ringing her doorbell. She went towards the door, almost a bit terrified to open the door. After all, it was night. She realised that she didn't have to open it. It was silent for about a minute, before it rang again and again and again. She had to, so she ended up opening the door, but no one was there.
She stepped outside, feeling the cold breeze gently touch her skin.
"Die..." Someone whispered to Sydney.
She was horrified, so she went back inside and she slammed the door and went back to the couch.
Hold up... Someone was on the couch. From a short distance she could see that someone was on the couch, but couldn't see who. Sydney picked up a bad from the shelf and slowly walked towards whoever was there. As she got closer and closer, she recognized the poor person on the couch. She had her brown curly hair in a ponytail, her skin was slightly paler than usual. Her eyes were closed, she was asleep. She was twisting and turning, as if she was having a nightmare.
Sydney was horrified to see who it was, she couldn't believe it. Either her eyes were betraying her or this is real. Her anxiety rises higher than the roof on her house. It keeps growing and growing. Until she couldn't take it anymore.
She broke down in tears, her body met the floor, because she obviously couldn't take it anymore. It was all too much of a torture. She cried out loud, desperately trying to wake up the person on the couch. She gave up after a while and looked up at a tall dark creature with a huge smile.
It was standing behind the couch The dark creature looked straight into her soul. She couldn't move. She was breathing heavily and heavily until she saw the tall figure expand their mouth until it was bigger than herself. Finally she let out a scream so loud and powerful, it should have woken the neighbours, but didn't. Moments later it swallowed her whole, without hesitation and it all went dark...
