The girl in the photo on her wall blinked.

Detective Joanna Kuva of Finland’s National Investigation Bureau had promised the girl's Mother that she would find little Inkeri. But it had already been two months. Each day Detective Kuva would stare at the photo of Inkeri, seeing her blink was a reminder to her that she had to find the girl while she was still alive.


The Helsinki Horror, as the media had dubbed the killer had already claimed six victims in his, or her reign of terror. Kuva was determined to find Inkeri before she became victim number seven.


But she only had one lead. A lead she found difficult to believe. As the lead was her own partner. American born Doctor Harriet Harmer.


Surely it couldn't be her…
