About Author
Mary
About the author Hello, my name is Mary McLoughlin, and I have now published several books on Amazon. My background is in education, where I worked for thirty years before taking early retirement. Since undertaking a creative writing course, I have written several early years children's books, with my bestseller being Megan the Magical Mermaid. My novella The Rose Pendant is now available as a paperback and an e-book, as are my Memoir Finding Faith and my short story The Tulip Vase. After undertaking research with 10 to 12-year-old girls, I decided to write a series of books entitled The Rainbow Girls as short stories, as requested by young girls who informed me that they did not want "A thick book and not fairy stories, something that they could relate to, So I decided to write about the first year in High school. Three of the stories have now been published, and I am currently working on the next four. I have also written a short Memoir called "A Day In Lourdes," which was a number one best-seller in Christian Miracles on Amazon, and which I am donating all royalties to The Youth Pilgrimage for 2026. I have now written 9 short stories on Novelo. I would love to hear from anyone who has read any of my books/stories and would welcome any reviews.
