After graduating from Davidson College with a BA in English and theatre, Callie taught high school and worked in theatres across North Carolina for twenty-five years.  In 2018, Callie moved to Los Angeles to become a studio teacher.  She worked backstage for several theatres before she wrote and directed Miracle for CEED-TV and stage managed their Christmas Spectacular.  Unfortunately, Covid happened, so she’s now back in NC.   She has written numerous plays and is currently working on a Young Adult novel.  She has worked professionally as a props mistress, stage manager, and actor, as well as doing technical work for a wide variety of professional, community, and educational theatres.  Callie lives near her parents and younger daughter, but is happy to be rooming only with her cat.
