Simona Chiusolo is an Italian writer, graduated from the Sapienza University in Performing Arts. Her life journey is per sé a quest for knowledge, inspiration, and freedom, whose research unfolds between academic studies and autodidactic practices to explore creativity as originality. She attended the faculty of philosophy at Macerata University and plays with mathematics while performing, painting, travelling, and actually playing music. To her, writing is a state of presence, enhancing the embodied experiences. It is the ridge from which the personal signature reveals identity and limits. An intuitive understanding of unexplainable feelings and a problematization of the actual reality, its challenges calling the creative being to speak out, like acting, often lyrically. Her writing got mixed with journalism, thanks to a four-year-long collaboration with the review Live Performing&Arts, in which she speculated on gender troubles, discrimination, and racism in the art field. Her article "Pearl Primus black dancer matter" arrived finalist to the contest Dancerewite, her short-novel "A Letter Without Destiny" was published by the Varnish literary Journal.
