Darkness descended with the fall of night. I looked out and saw the electric dark blue of water receding into that darkness.&nbsp; And then came the Hum.&nbsp; I felt it slide into my thoughts and I knew that the words that splashed around in my mind were not my own. It filled me with hate and anger. I wanted to fnd those that betrayed me and kill them all.&nbsp; Nothing made sense.&nbsp; The Hum!&nbsp; Once again I was lost in a world of hatred. A fire seemed to engulf my soul and I knew only pain and misery.&nbsp; Darkness descended.&nbsp; I knew there was only one thing I could do to stop the pain that threatened to undo me. I had to kill.&nbsp; The Hum! I must kill them all.&nbsp; It will go down as the worst killing spree in the history of the world. 100 dead. More injured. I tried to quench the thirst that the beast that resides in me has, but it wants more.&nbsp; The Hum! Darkness descends into my soul.&nbsp; Please help me.&nbsp; Darkness descends.&nbsp; There is no helping…&nbsp; I see nothing but darkness now and I do not know where I am. I hear screaming. I feel something wet and sticky wash over me. Is it happening once more? Please no. Where is my peace?&nbsp; I dream about peace. I see it in my mind-eye. Nothing makes sense though. Make it make sense! Give me some hope!&nbsp; More screaming.&nbsp; I hear a whisper. Something is begging the beast for help. Ha!&nbsp; The Hum! As if there is any peace to give! Don't you think I would give that help, that peace to me? Don't I deserve it? I deserve it!&nbsp; Darkness is my world now.&nbsp;The Hum!&nbsp;The beast destroys all it touches.&nbsp; It roams the halls of the cruise ship and kills all that it sees. I am trapped. I am alone. Please help me escape! For the love of god, I want to escape.&nbsp; I sense the end is near. They must come for the beast soon. Come for me? It is not I, but the beast that does this! The Hum takes control and the beast is released. Be afraid! It comes for us all! Run you fools! Run!&nbsp;The Hum!&nbsp;Darkness is all I see. A shadow amongst shadows. Nothing makes sense. Crying now. I hear crying. Begging. Sobs. The world is on fire. We are in hell.&nbsp; The Hum!&nbsp; No. Please. Not again. Enough of the killing. We've done enough. You have done enough. I won't be a part of it any longer. I will fight… The Hum!&nbsp; There is no fighting the beast. It takes what and who it wants, whenever it wants. I'm a tool, nothing more.&nbsp; The Hum!&nbsp; That can't be true. I feel the life being snuffed out of those I kill. Those the beast kills? No. It can't be. Where am I? Who am I? Where is my wife? Dead? No. It can't be. I'm alone. I have always been alone.&nbsp; The Hum!&nbsp;Darkness is here forever.&nbsp; You are alone, my pet. I am your master and you do as you are told. Kill! No!Kill them all!&nbsp;No!&nbsp;KILL THEM ALL! No more screaming. All dead that we can tell. The floor is slippery with the blood of our foes. Their souls are ours for all time.&nbsp;I must end it. I must be quiet.&nbsp; Pet! Where are you?&nbsp; I hear the waves crashing against the hull. It is now or never. I must be brave. I must vanquish the beast.&nbsp; The Hum!&nbsp; I jump. Feel the water crash into me. The force of which rips open my mouth and the sea rushes down my throat. I have my peace.&nbsp; Darkness descends…
