She could collect her thoughts and prepare herself for whatever the day might throw at her. Samantha Redwing was a small girl, aged 12, with erratic red hair. She had emerald green eyes with fair skin. The nurse led her to the dining hall. An oncoming roar of voices there slapped her on the face as she entered. It was a perfect bedlam of anger, hope, despair, and thirst for vengeance. “The girl is alive! Bummer.” Diego shouted. “Don’t be such a pessimist. Red, you are late. Thought Chunky killed you, isn’t that right, Chunky?” Chunky smiled at her with a degree of malevolence. He had cruelty in his eyes. “See, he also agrees.” Penny said. Samantha was served and sat to eat. Eros joined her at the table. He took a strand of her hair and smiled. Eros smiled imperiously at her. “You smell heavenly today.
