Ellen and Dale have been married for five years and live on a small property outside of Whyalla in South Australia.

Their marriage is struggling under miscommunication, financial stress and Dale's depression and drinking.

Ellen has been selling their horses to keep them financially afloat and today she is saying goodbye to her best friend Finder who has been with her all his life and nine years of hers.
