Everyone who lives here always thought the city was a quaint place. A serene place. Northern Ontario had always seemed like it was a quieter region. That began to change August 20th of 1998. Nobody would have thought the start of a serial killer centered around the teenage boy, Hodge Watson. He went to Widdifield Secondary School, in North Bay, Ontario. The local schools had used the "Near North" term to define the area surrounding and including the quaint town of North Bay.
Many of the people living there at the time, Including Hodge's friend and cousin Jim Song, had a slight obsession with serial killers. The boy took his interest in history to a rather disturbed level, at least to Hodge. No one would have ever thought the boys would get into any kind of trouble. Between their friends, Jason May, Stephen Charleston and Tiffany Hart, they often were too busy to even see anything beyond what was at the surface. The crew would never know the dark cloud that would cast this night, which would come to be the beginning of their worst nightmares, becoming a local problem.
The group all went to various schools in the year, and with the schools opening up anytime, they held some reserve about the topic. None in the circle liked the schools. Well, outside of Stephen's little sister, that is. She was an astounding student for a young girl. They all wound up spending a lot of time down at the local diners, rotating the four favourite places they had across the small city. Their idea of high end food was the twin fast food place. However, many didn't like going their do to the grease of the food. Many people in this town had a large number of secrets and no one would have suspected who would have unleashed them all upon us.
