Synopsis
When exhausted ER physician Elena Reyes picks up a midnight phone call from her own number, she's not prepared for the voice on the other end. It's her—only not quite. The voice warns her not to go to work the next day, hinting at some kind of horrible event. Taking it as either a stressful meltdown or a bizarre prank, Elena hauls herself to work anyway. She gets to watch her own death in the trauma bay a few hours later.
Elena is plunged into a dizzying spiral of déjà vu, time loops, and cryptic warnings that have come to seem like prophecies. Instead of fleeing to freedom, she thought she could be for herself; Elena finds she is still in the cycle, haunted now not just by the versions of herself that have come before but also by the knowledge that someone she once trusted is hot on her trail. All the while, Elena is trying to solve a paradox not just for the sake of her own life but also for all those who are trapped and will continue to be trapped in time itself.

About Author
Amber Hayes
Amber is a new and upcoming author who finally decided to publish one of her stories after years of dreaming. She’s been with her husband, Dirk, since 2003; together, they have 3 children but are currently empty nesters. They share their house with multiple pets, including dogs, fish, a turtle, and a chinchilla. Though she holds a degree in criminal justice, Amber is now pursuing a career in secondary education as a special education teacher. A lifelong book lover, she fondly remembers reading her grandmother’s Harlequin novels, which helped spark her passion for storytelling.
