The Alarm Wasn't Supposed To Go Off Yet

I have always believed my voice, my true voice, can be found in my pen and/or keyboard. The words have always flowed in a way they don't through speaking. From what I have been told I have written stories and poetry from the time I was old enough to hold a pen/pencil in my hand. I'm very rarely without a book of some sort and my supply of notebooks and journals is not short by any means. I am also an educator, serving as a literacy coach, an after school attendant, and a special education teacher assistant. I find inspiration in the faces and voices of my four adult children, my little grandson, and in the love and support of my partner Joshua.
