As a committed writer, I have become passionate due to my long association with ‘The Fellowship of Australian Writers’, an organization almost 100 years old. Besides the opportunity for committee positions, and sometimes Competition Secretary, I have found the mentoring and inspiration of my peers has added to my growth as a writer leading to successes in competitions, anthologies, magazines and online sites. I was spurred on when writing jointly during Covid 19 with two remote friends. With penname, Issy Jinarmo, we pick up threads of stories from each other and continue them. This is quite challenging. Joint writing has taken me out of my comfort zone and made me more adventurous. Alone and jointly, as Issy Jinamo , we continue to have success .
