Steph Newham is dyslexic she was always afraid of writing the stories created in her head. On retirement, she did an MA at Lancaster University. Her first collection Lady with Edelweiss was published in 2022. She is working on a second collection of Short Stories and a novella..She writes about ancestry, rituals, birth, age, incest, stones, mental health, and dyslexia. She is also interested in liminal space and altered states of being in the creative process. She likes channeling recognisable characters with unexpected depths who people worlds where personal psychology and the mundane get tangled – and sometimes disrupt and corrupt, stories to make you think. She has had articles published in newspapers and short stories in several anthologies and online e-zines.
