I was born in Corona, California in 1955. My father was a policeman and mother a homemaker. I was the first born so my father made me the protector of family because he worked at night. He felt that girls were equal to boys and taught me how shoot firearms, how to protect myself, ride motorcycles and play sports. Young women do not realize how dangerous the world can be until they actually get a chance to experience life, after moving out of the family home. My experiences may have been more intense considering my father worked in law enforcement. I would like to make young women more aware of the dangers of a society that has taken a turn for the worse when it comes to murder, kidnap and exploiting women for profit. Perhaps I can save somebody the heartbreak of going through a bad experience because they are unaware of the dangers that lurk in this world. I would like to make a difference and feel maybe I could save just one person, This would give me a reason to feel that my life had a purpose and the things that happened to me can help someone else avoid, or cope with a bad experience I want to help others who might be struggling to cope with the pain of being a victim and know they are not to blame. Often such crimes leave a victim blaming themselves or families not wanting to except loved ones back into the family. Women need to be more educated on how to avoid situations that could bring harm to themselves and loved ones.
