I'm like a shadow passing through the quiet streets. A boy from Syria, whose fateful path broke in the heart of the Czech Republic. My original dream was to become a cardiologist, but as Seneca once said, fate leads life, he who resists it, fate drags him violently behind itself. And so it was that I found myself in the world of art. First it was film, where I found my voice and broke the rules of society. I didn't move towards commercial films, but rather looked for inspiration in the German Expressionism of the 1920s. However, my canvas was not limited to film. Graphic design became another way of expressing my voice. I created posters that were a voice of protest and images of hope. Palestine was one of the issues I focused on, but my eyes were not blind to the problems in Iran. I delved into the world of queer Arabs, trying to illuminate the dark corners of their existence. My art was a bridge between who I was and who I had become. Although I didn't stay with healing hearts, my art still carries the desire to heal, be it the soul or the world around me.
