I’m a father of two, divorced and single, living in a little place called Bierton, just slightly to the right of Aylesbury on any map. That’s in rural Buckinghamshire. Proud owner of a run-down 14th century house which I am sharing with several mice. 14 to date. The latest two are - mouse #13, Judas and mouse #14, aka Valentine. They have been with me over the festive period residing in a hamster cage, eating Hobnobs and pumpkin seeds. As with the previous mice I will release them, once the weather improves. I am going to be 53 in April. I’m possibly eccentric, also a bit of a hippie I suppose. I’m a hopeful romantic, I’m spiritual and I love….well, ‘love’ and delight in all of the fantastical things residing in the natural world within this magnificent cosmos. Most things amaze me. I’m a big time believer in seeking out the magical in the mundane and ordinary places. I love the things that have been weathered by time, the peeling painted door and the worn flagstones shaped by countless medieval feet. People absolutely fascinate me, vastly intelligent bipedal apes that can build flying machines, visit other planets, create devices to talk to people on the opposite side of the world but we struggle to cook eggs just right. What funny animals we are!
