Lilith opened her eyes and looked around.She was inside a forest, with elve trees and many birds either flying or singing or both. She had no money inside her pocket, but a book called “The book of secrets”. It had a hard cover and an eagle in the front page.Suddenly, she felt something at her left shoulder. Instead of trying to push it away, she looked very slowly to see what it was. It was a small pigeon.“Hello”, someone said.But Lilith couldn’t see any person around.“Hello”, she heard again.She looked again at the pigeon, which said:“Hello”, waving his feathers.“Hello”, Lilith replied.“I am Darnathil”, it said. What is your name?”“Hi Darmatol, what a strange name. I am Lilith. Where does your name come from?”“It is Darnathil. It is based on ancient forests and the secrets they hide”.“You mean you know how to navigate to this forest?”“Smart girl, I like it. Yes, that is exactly what I mean.”“Well, were am I? And were shall we go?”“You have been trapped in a maze, beyond space or time. Your goal is to get to the maze ’s exit without getting killed. And I am going to guide you”.“What? A maze? But how did I end up here?”“Life is a series of decisions. Every time you may choose one thing over everything. But only one. Except of talking to the phone while walking which I do not suggest at all.”“But what happens if I choose not to believe you and try on my own?”“Most probably you will get killed. If you watch carefully, under one of each two stones there are mines, so if you move to the wrong stone, you will get killed”.“And if I choose to do nothing?”“Then you will die here out of hunger and thirst”.“But how do I know this is for real? How can you speak and we can understand each other?”“Patience, dear. At the end you will get the answers you need”.“Ok, well I don’t see I have much of a choice, do I?”“You may choose to continue alone, or not move at all. Just say it and I will go away”.Suddenly Lilith heard loud noises coming from inside the forest. A sound similar of a howl and some screeching sounds were also heard. She tried to move, but saw in front of her some stones with question marks.
