"Are you sure I look ok?" Miranda yells to her best friend and roommate Cassandra."Yes girl! You're gorgeous! Hurry up! He'll be here any minute!"Miranda walks downstairs looking absolutely stunning in a long black dress and her dark hair up in a wispy bun. Tonight she would go on her first date with one of the most eligible bachelors. He was very handsome with dark hair and bright green eyes. He was very wealthy and carried himself with dignity. He was kind and very charismatic. She was smitten. He was way out of her league. Though she was beautiful and charming in her own way, she was also very reserved.A knock at the door. "It's him,it's him! I'm so nervous!"Cassandra rushes past her to the door, " you look great! It's going to be great! Ugh He is so great!:Opening the door hes dressed in a deep blue suit. Looking perfect. Cassandra ushers him in fluttering around him like a school girl. He gives her a warm smile, but sets his gaze on the lovely Miranda. "She is stunning" Dominic thinks to himself. "Pity the way thing will end"."You look radiant!" He whispers as he gently brushes her cheek with his lips. His touch sends warm tingles through her whole body. "Are you ready" Dominic asks as he takes her hand leading her towards the door. Seems an almost rhetorical question. She follows with ease anyway."Have fun tonight you kids! I won't wait up" Cassandra winks at Miranda as they're leaving.He is a gentleman taking care in guiding her to the car before opening the door and easing her in. On the drive to the restaurant they talk little but he rests his hand on hers the entire time. "He is good! Really good! I might be in trouble" She thinks to herself staring at his large hand completely engulfing her own.."You really look amazing, miranda!" He says again before leading her into one of the most beautiful restaurants she's ever seen! This was far beyond anything she was used to. The Maître d was prompt seating them immediately in a private small booth in the corner of the large room. It was small but offered a unique view of the entire place without being too close to anyone other then the person sharing the booth. They talked all through dinner about everything, work, the future, past relationships. They laughed and flirted and talked for hours. It felt comfortable, familiar almost. As they stood outside waiting for the valet he looked down at her deep into her light brown eyes " would you like to come to my place for a night cap?"Miranda explodes inside! She cannot believe this is happening. "Maybe just one" She almost whispers."
